they are an Allied race. Which means they wouldn’t just scrap “half of them“. They have already designed the option to be usable on both sides. But my point still stands. Why not ask to have the Amani as another Allied race? Obviously it’s their new favorite formula for keeping balance and if we’re gonna have another troll set in the game, maybe it’s about time we had them for the other side as well.
This is pointed out in the questing, the traditions (which usually are dumb, no matter the culture) was tending and communing to the roots, the “guardians” was the forebears aggrandizing the fact that they were doing very little and it mostly amounted to watching the roots in their home. All of which they made up after their rage on coming into this land finding mot a goddess waiting for them. They’re built on failures, this is intentional.
But for some reason you hate them but also want them to be perfect and more important than they are while also wanting to remove them?
No they didn’t. What? This “oh this new race os super cool and better at everything” is a bugaboo you made up, it doesn’t happen in game.

From what I’ve seen, Night Elves don’t initially appear in Midnight so far, but I doubt the devs are done with them. Quilboar elves talk directly about the roots of Teldrassil and that they would eventually heal. I wouldn’t even be surprised if, when the tree maybe comes back in ten years or so, nelves 3.0 take over the whole thing. It would fit the storytelling.^^"

No no, you don’t understand. It will just be a handful of housing items on the cash shop. Most of the items will be available in game. All that time redesigning the cash shop and creating a brand new virtual currency that is all just for these couple of chairs to go up on the store.

Their not going to redesign an entire zone and story because you are grumpy about Harronir. Their coming, their lore is set and planned. You gotta live with it.
I get it, you want Amani trolls. But there’s an 2 entire expansions before the world soul saga is over, not to mention any future xpacs, Amani trolls might be added between now and then.
What’s the problem with epic back stories? Not everyone has to be Frank the Farmer going on an adventure. The whole point of a game like DnD is that you are writing and designing the character you want to play. This whole argument is silly to me.
