Its not that people made a bad choice of a pvp server

But all this has been done and failed before, open world or not.

Simply put, not faction balancing pvp servers is a huge part of what has led us to retail.

Please guys please, think about it.

Please stop reveling in your horde supremacy just for a second and think about the game.

Reroll on Blameux - if you’re interested in “fair faction balance” that seems to be the most equal server. Or, take a break if you feel you cannot re-roll. Battlegrounds will be out soon and there will be less deathsquads roaming around cuz they’ll all be in BG’s

Thanks, I think I will try that server. I mean, I absolutely love pvp. It’s the only reason I’m here. So, if there’s at least semi-balanced server then I’ll just switch now lol. Thanks again for the heads up.

That wasn’t my quote. Also, there were very different systems in place on live whereas there was only rudimentary ones on Classic - and Blizzard had a fresh slate that they could have used to prevent this problem.

What a stupid suggestion.

If it was predicted and if Blizzard knew, then why wouldn’t they step in to prevent that problem? It’d be the far more intelligent economoical decision. And they’ve already had a plethora of changes.

Faction specific queues like we’ve suggested.

We’ve gone over this. I don’t want to be forced to jump ship (and given every PvP server is this bad, including Heartseeker, I don’t think I would have found a home) because of Blizzard’s failure.

Then what the hell is even the point of you arguing with me? Faction specific queues was the primary suggestion I agreed with.

Well. You’re only level 20.

So.

It’ll take you another… 2.5 months? to hit 20 again. And by then battlegrounds will be out and your QQ will mean little

tf 2.5 months to hit 20? Bruh thats like less than a day and a half… (I’ve been making many alts during these warring times…)

Faction specific queues aren’t enough on their own.

They really just mean it makes the horde zerg take 15 minutes or an hour more to get in and then you’re right back where you are now, just 1 hour later.

It has to be faction locked character creation AND majority queues.

having your friends roll on the same server as you is stupid now? since when?

what can blizzard do? tell people they aren’t allowed to play on the server and faction they want? yeah that would go over well.

and i’d be fine with that. i would not be fine with literally anything else.

again. not blizzards failure. peoples failure. was blizzard supposed to force people to play afaction they don’t want?

because despite that, you’ve said some other crap that is just flat WRONG.

Honestly if I wasn’t so invested I may have given it a shot. I’m banking on it dying down before BGs are released, but it’s possible it won’t. I’ll be playing other games and leveling a Horde instead.

I’ll probably actually go to Blameux on it, now I think about it.

I fail to understand why anyone thinks that if they are on a server with a 50-50 faction ratio they won’t be ganged up on by groups of players of the opposite faction. There’s no requirement that any one help or group up with any one else. Short of the entire server population attacking each other simultaneously, what does faction imbalance have to do with anything?

WHY NOT? You think what we have now is better? Private servers did wow classic better than blizzard, and it worked fine in them.

yes. i do. one is a player issue and the other would be a company issue. massive difference.

Suggesting people leave the server they’ve spent well over a hundred hours on or more is stupid when it can be more easily fixed.

Faction specific queues.

The only reason I was giving other suggestions was because there were people upset at the idea of faction specific queues.

Retail was given to us by catering to the lowest common denominator of the game. VS leaving a good game the way the game was.

Catering to this QQ fest FOUR DAYS after honor was released is going to heave an ultimately massive hit to blizzards integrity about leaving the game alone as it was.

We all agreed, when we signed up for this…

Warts and All. Remember?

When they said “you think you do but you dont?”

Well. The most of us knew what we wanted. And what we were signing up for.

I dont want another version of retail where they “balance” everything around the sheep who bleat the loudest.

thats what gave us retail. Not what we’re seeing now.

Sheep. Crying because its -NOT FAIR- in THEIR eyes as to how they envision the game.

It’s bound to happen, but it’s not going to be literally every waking moment on a server. That’s the issue - if you go to any contested zone, you’re going to be camped by 3-5+ Horde.

Do you even play on a PvP server? Do you understand the issue?

If I see you in battlegrounds.

You’ll be especially my target.

Good luck <3

You spent 100+ hours on your level 51 warlock?

Probably a ton of alts too.

Ima give you advice I got when I was a wee lad playing warcraft…

“You wanna know how I got all this gear?” says HOR paladin…
Yeah, how??? says wee little me.
“I dont play alts.”

you could have done this back in august. or september. well before you had hundreds of hours in. blizzard warned you it would be bad back in august. you ignored it. you could have taken their advice.

is the only acceptable answer, but even that wouldn’t be enough.

This would be a valid argument except that they did make one very massive change, which would be increasing the server population cap by 3-5X.

This wouldn’t be so unplayable an issue if that were not the case. It’s just the sheer numbers man, and they weren’t a part of vanilla.

I played on KJ in vanilla and it was horde dominated then and yes it sucked for me.

But we could get around 2000ish horde.

In a world the same size, I can’t get around 10,000.

Mages don’t tend to do well against Warlocks, but I’ll actually enjoy it. 10v10 and the like is a lot more fun. That’s my problem with the server populations.

I do fine.

And your points of talking lead me to believe that you’ll be easy pickings.

That, and ill be fully geared while you run around in greens

Playing classic, has shown me, that not many people actually know how to PvP. And its wonderful smashing most classes against the ground in 1v1

Again - I didn’t anticipate the problem would be this bad. I’ve said that plenty of times.

Oh, it’d help - while it wouldn’t be perfect, the more the population gap the more the discrepancy in queues, as they can spread out the reduced time from one Alliance (or Horde for Heartseeker) to many Horde.

We might still have issues with being unable to do much in game, but it’ll be lessened somewhat and we won’t wait 1-2 hours in queue for it.
