Riiight.
And I’d be fine with that, since it’d be 1v1… 'cause right now it’s 3v1 or more.

yep, and my point is that makes it a you problem, not a blizzard problem.
it would help very briefly, because eventually those horde would get in game and you would still be overwhelmed.
I never played on a PVP server. Why do you think faction imbalance is causing your problem? On a PVP server groups of players gang up on other groups of player. If you don’t want to play that style of Wow play on a PVE server. It’s really simple.
I imagine that getting rid of layering has exacerbated the issue but Blizzard spent weeks warning about it. Apparently you didn’t take them seriously.
Mages don’t tend to do well against Warlocks, but I’ll actually enjoy it. 10v10 and the like is a lot more fun. That’s my problem with the server populations.
Mages don’t tend to do well either against rogues. I look forward to one shotting him in that bg.
Lol. I’ve been wiping the floor with rogues all day 1v1. Bring it on shorty
Don’t presume to know me or my height, you’re just making yourself look even more egotistical.
Do you know what else is a me problem? Working full time and having other responsibilities, so that 1-2 hour wait and 45+ minute time to get to any dungeon being a much larger impact on my available play time.
Should I also quit my job?
Can you stop ignoring half of what I say? I literally said this in the latter half:
Then why are you in this thread? You ignorant fool.
Lololololol. I call people taller than me shorty all the time.
IDC about what your height actually is.
Your QQ makes me assume you’re a gnome rogue.
“shorty”
And even then. I really dont care.
Good luck to you.
Blizzard wont cater to your lowest common denominator that you’re wishing for.
You’ve never played on a PvP server and yet you’re commenting on problems unique to PvP servers? You have no idea what you’re talking about, so why are you acting like you do?
I have no problem with being ganked, or camped from time to time. The problem is that the world is literally uninhabitable for Alliance players. Every contested zone is controlled by the Horde including our flight masters. Constantly.
That’s a player population issue, as there’s so many more Horde than Alliance.
I’ve stated this before on a thread similar to this. Part of the issue isn’t just the one sided nature of most the pvp servers. It’s also how many people are online at a time. Vanilla wow servers were something like 3k at a time. I think it was said our big servers in classic are 13 k during peak time.
We keep saying no changes and asking for an original experience. What’s going to happen if blizzard decides to cap servers at say 5k online at a time?
Queues will be astronomical. On the plus side of that tho, the servers will bounce back and forth as to who has the upper hand.
I do see blizzard taking action on this if it continues to last. I don’t think they will queue cap servers lower though.
Dude, you’re making it too easy to report. Please, continue.
Yeah. People who played retail, people who played vanilla and blizzard didn’t see this coming. If anyone saw this coming, it was people who played private servers.
So did everyone else.
Faction Queues. Probably the only way to get Horde to agree to xfer off their lopsided servers. This would improve the health of a server rather than hurt it.
If the population is low enough to not break the queue threshold on each side, there won’t be a need for queues.
Faction specific queues are a better band-aid. While it won’t solve the issue, it’ll remedy it somewhat. An Alliance player waiting the same amount of time as a Horde player while being unable to do anything in game (or it taking significantly longer) isn’t fair.
You do realize horde is only 5% larger on sulfuras, right?
Source? It’s nice there’s more balanced servers, but it seems like most of the biggest ones are much more skewed.
Quaking in my boots I am.
You showed me.
That darn old report button.
Drat.
Hey, verbal harassment is bannable. Considering the way you’ve been talking to us, that definitely qualifies. I personally don’t care how you feel about it, I care how blizzard feels about it.
What is happening is the population for 1 faction is so lopsided that for example on my server horde has 20-40 man raids camping every flight path… so basically alliance cant even go anywhere, because as soon as they land, they are aoed down and dead corpse camped for honor farm. I am horde on my server i rode around phase 2 launched and only pvp spot that wasnt camped was south shore on our server… but horde had atleast 5 40 man raids outside of south shore to mayb 2 or 3 alliance raids… the only thing keeping them from not being corpse/flight master camped was the DHK from the guards there… it was soo laggy there that it was literally unplayable for any mele…
Faction transfers should be made available to same server from high populated factions to lower ones to help balance… most wont change faction, but some will, and if they dont change, they are only killing their own server in the long run, because if the alliance start quiting, then these pvp servers will be PvE before long…
On Herod it’s closer to 67/33. That’s a 2:1 ratio, a difference of ~34%. That itself wouldn’t be as bad on say…a server with a population of 5000 or 10000 having 1000-2000 people online at a time. But Herod is still cleanly sitting around 60-80k active players during the day with more than 12k online at a time.
And other servers have just as much or almost as many people. Also “Full” servers in Vanilla back then had a WAY WAY LOWER cap. Would say the cap on a full server in Vanilla is probably…about what a “Dead” server is today in Classic to your average forum goer.
