How would you know whether it did or you didn’t?

That’s true, however with that said, I raided 4 days a week in Vanilla from the opening of MC until the end of Naxx. I was heavily involved in the community aspect of the server (Blackrock US) and we have an extremely healthy IRC channel where players from all guilds on the server would interact.

I have literally never, ever heard a single mention of an entire raid resetting outside of cascading. I would very much like some kind of reassurance this isn’t a direct result of layering as It seems to have been the exact same outcome from that druid who jumped in Gnomer.

Lol this ultima guy has me laughing so hard. He literally posted the same thing over 30 times.

so what? what if people want to post on their live charecters? why would people hide their classic charecters, especially if they can post just on a level 1.

I agree with you and I think your funny so no hard feelings here.

32 times now hehe

yeah no, not true at all, there is literally a super well known case of a legendary droppign that was not supposed to, and a guy getting to keep it, if you think the devs and GM’s cared enough about the intergrity of the game they would have removed it from the guy…

I feel like I remember a story of it happening once to people I didn’t know, but maybe this was some kind of urban legend, or maybe I’ve straight up created the memory. I dunno!

The guy that got banned for one-shoting bosses with the GM cloak?

Word of god y’all

Vanilla baby here. Can confirm, have heard of cascading but never heard of what Lore is describing. Can’t say I was a hardcore raider though, but I did browse the forums quite a bit.

He did it, ban him.

Hmm, here I thought this thread was going to be about multi-boxing.

Maybe!

But you’ve got to admit it sure is convenient this bug from vanilla managed to appear so rapidly and frequently seems a bit fishy no?

It is blizzard’s fault, but it’s also the players’ fault. it’s like a car wreck with one person speeding and the other one trying to catch pokemon while driving

Hi Ultima would you be able to confirm for me exactly what it is Blizzard are doing? im not quite sure, thanks.

Giving them the go ahead to do the raid again was definitely a bad decision, and rather than go back on their decision, they are claiming it’s a bug from 2004. How was this bug not fixed in 15 years? Aren’t we using the 8.0 engine?

I can see why they won’t do anything about it, though. If you seem wishy washy about a decision, you’ll get thousands of people trying to repeal bans or ask for things because they saw you change your mind once, so you must be able to change it again.

In my opinion they should just lock them out of next week’s raid. They just got to do next week’s raid early, no big deal.

I don’t think players should be punished. Instead Blizzard should be punished. Imagine how dumb it is to allow layering to happen in instances. That is a huge design flaw, and Blizzard deserves to be punished by players using it to their advantage.

haha, you wish!
