"it's not cheating or an exploit, it's a clever use of game mechanics which Blizz tolerates and actually encourages"

Ban them all, not 3 days. 1-3 months based on severity, and rollback of loot/gear/gold, or 2 week ban with character deletion. You must find a way to solve the damage done on the economy, preferably removal of patterns/items/etc and reimburse their gold. You must set an example. WoW Classic is in a delicate state, and we fought for this to come out for it not to be ruined by the fools.

welp, found the layer hopper

It’s 100% true. Just like all the exp potion exploiters tried to argue after they stacked them 20+ times on retail to level 110-120 in like an hour.

Unless I don’t understand about what the dungeon exploit involves, if it doesn’t involve any sort of third party program and can be done “naturally” within the confines of the game it’s taking advantage of a bug, which is “just playing the game”. That’s what thousands of people try to argue whenever they get caught with their pants down exploiting.

It’s no different than people who layer hopped repeatedly for resources.

Not even a debate.

I mean, I’m trying to avoid calling what he is saying an outright lie, and more the fact maybe he’s confusing it with instance theft.

I think Blizzard handled this poorly, I just spoke to the top Alliance PvE guild on my server in Vanilla and they never heard of this happening - But remember cascading instances.

You are all sad and pathetic.

If you can’t prove what the Blue said about it being an original 2004 bug then there’s really not a lot to debate here. You could be right that they’re lying but with no proof what do you expect anyone to do about it?

I see you just want to scream the same thing on repeat. Coolio I guess.

Just a quick bit of info about the vanilla bug.

You could cascade Molten Core raid IDs back when they were straight 5-6 days instead of weekly raid IDs, and basically do it once a day, each day of the week. We got screwed out of BWL and MC firsts because of this -_-

Start your raid ID, kill first boss to start your lockout timer of 5 days. Have another guild clear as far as they can (or alts), as long as they started it a day after you. Yours expires on day 5, and the other guild has 1 day left on theirs. You join theirs, get the 1 day left ID, clear the raid, and then yours expires. If you set it up with enough guilds, you can keep doing this as much as you want to play. The guilty party on our server all got some suspensions for doing it though, and I believe it’s why they went to the 7 day raid ID system.

why dont you actually try making an argument about why its not an exploit? b/c all youre doing is saying ‘you all are dumb, im right’
which makes you look very silly

Yeah, still never heard much about what will happen. But then again, I am not seeing some of the streamers named on tonight.

And you’re just a broken record.

I can keep this up if you’d like.

Repeating the same thing just makes you look like a child, which is also bad (mkaaaaaay?)

Personally I would really like Lore to expand on how this was a vanilla related bug, how it was replicated and how It’s not a direct result of layering which apparnetly exists in raids.

That’s not going to happen though as Lore is an absent father most of the time.

Why is layering even in instances? Why aren’t they copping more heat for this?

Yeah, and no rested XP on alts!

something tells me they’re not gonna give you this one fam

So you can run a raid twice or three times a week?

Just not 5+?

Well if they’re aware it’s a bug surely it’s fixed now right?

Wait no it’s not because it literally happened to a friend of mine six hours ago and they’re reclearing MC as i type for the second time this week. (Only rag was left in their raid, they showed up and it was reset)

Layering in raids is a pretty big change though
and the fact I guarantee this “oh lmao the entire raid reset” ever happened in Vanilla.

It literally didn’t happen.

Welcome to no changes I guess :woman_shrugging:

If he wasnt a popular streamer he would have been banned but nice cover up here.
