Are you serious? If you go to a bank and make a deposit and the banker puts in the wrong amount. Do you think you get to keep it? Here I’ll help you…you don’t. They don’t deserve the extra ANYTHING. It was an unintentional bug and their loot becomes forfeit, period.

Yeah, but read the blue post. Apparently this has been a bug since Classic, he asked a GM, and they told him it was okay.
I never said i was supporting exploiting. If you intentional exploit, then you should be banned.
If you run into on unintentionally and report it, you shouldn’t.

The but Esfand ran into had nothing to do with layering. Again read the post

This bug never happened in Vanilla, this is 100% directly the result of layering.
If you could show me a single shred of evidence It happened I’d appreciate it. What my guess is Lore is bringing up cascading instances (which was 100% intentional) and calling it a day.
Because they were told to by Blizzard.

It didn’t happen to Esfand only? If you think this is an isolated incident you are out of your mind. There is a person on the Disc priest discord right now that had their MC reset and they were allowed to reclear:
“ok we got answer from Blizzard”
“we are allowed to clear again”
This isn’t a zaney whacky bug that happened once and that’s it. This is directly resulted to layering and blizzard incompetence. “Instances randomly resetting” was not a vanilla bug.
You comparison is completely intellectual dishonesty. Money is not a product, nor a service. Have the raid unexpected reset is not the players fault, Blizzard allowed it to happens. The player didn’t try to reproduce or continuing exploit it, and reported the bug, what is a complete different situation. Have no reason to Blizzard not allow the player finish the raid or keep the loot. You would do the same, and if Blizzard removed your loot in this situation, for sure has a thread of yours here crying because it was an accident and Blizzard has no right to do it.
So the guild on Arugal who farmed bindings for both their Tanks, are alowed to do so?
This game is broken beyond repair if you allow the loot to stand.

Banning for the dungeon boss exploit is great and all, but why not do anything about people who were layer hopping to EXP grind? We all knew your intent behind layers (reduce server load so more people could play) yet people found a way to abuse it to grind mobs and quickly get to 60 (or close enough) to clear it out.
