People seem to be misquoting the original wording of the meta achievement. It never said ‘complete all three raids on any difficulty’. It just said ‘complete all three raids’.

This is incorrect.
The original meta-achievement (https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=15684/fates-of-the-shadowlands-raids) had its own text, and had its criteria of completing 3 other achievements.

The 3 achievements required to complete it were the ones that contained the “any difficulty” text. In fact, it’s still like that on wowhead: https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=15663/fate-of-nathria
“Defeat the following bosses on any difficulty while Nathria is a Fated raid.”

It’s these 3 achievements (Fate of Nathria, Fate of Domincation, Fate of the Sepulcher) that have had their wording hotfixed to Normal difficulty in the live game. That’ll eventually filter back into Wowhead, but for now it’s still there, because that’s how it was in the live game.

Update: Been declined all day, “”“friendship”"" runs aren’t starting until after people get their mounts and it’s first come first served in most discord servers, meaning unless you’re there immediately, you will not be getting it. What a joke. Screw the community for just not agreeing on this, it just should have been obtainable for everyone. All this does is make me and so many others not want to play and if you can’t see that this is a bad thing then you are selfish and part of the problem entirely.

Good managers always communicate w their team and a multi billion dollar company who was asked repeatedly on multiple platforms for clarification should be no different.

That analogy doesn’t hold. We are not Blizzard’s employees. We are not on their “team”. They are under no contractual obligation to provide clarification on content changes, but I haven’t read the EULA in a while. I do believe it says something to the effect of: the game can change at any time, for any or no reason at all. My point was, it is clear from some of these thread that many, many people are ill-equipped to handle the unexpected.

Y’all really out here screeching in post after post about this one ugly mount in a game with over 700 available. “Do X thing or else” has literally never worked on blizzard ever but as usual it’s the GD go-to for the most recent tantrum.

For the “I only play this game by myself” crowd there was a massive time sink for mounts/pets/toys added with ZM as well as all the covenant content over the entire xpac. I highly doubt even 5% of the people yelling in the all these repeat posts about this stupid mount have completed everything else available and are now totally out of rewards for their preferred play style. I have no issue with solo players and am happy that they are able to enjoy this game by themselves, however if the rewards come from content you flat out refuse to do then you aren’t going to get those rewards.

Transparency: Regular Open Dialogue With The Player base

One of the things that has been happening much better in recent months is that there has seemingly been an openness and willingness for Blizzard to have more transparency, to have more open dialogue with their player base. I’m not talking about just in Alpha or in PTR testing, although their response to feedback in that regard does seem to be amped up and some changes have been made due to feedback from us, so some of that has been good to see. An example Maizou brings up is that when stores advertise a price, they honor that price even if its a mistake, because it is wrong to mislead customers and tell them that an item is worth X, only to then change the value to the more expensive Y when they get to the checkout. Blizzard mislead subscribers for months, and then double-downed on the misleading act on the last day rather than own up to their mistake and correct the issue.

While I agree with the whole LFR mount debacle, this isn’t why they honor the cheaper price. They honor it bc it is illegal to increase the price from what it rang up to lol

Fun Fact, there’s like a 99% chance I’ll be removed for the Community Council for not letting this die. But honestly, if that happens, I hope that cements to everyone that Blizzard is indeed not caring about Feedback or the community and it’s all a farce.

I also don’t plan to renew, as I said in another thread. If on the off chance I do renew, it will be through the tokens I already own, so not giving them anything else, and I wouldn’t be playing, it’d be just to post on the forums to let this not die.
