Run some +2 like everybody else does when they are gearing up.
The LFR thing bothers me for this reason as I don’t even waste my time in LFR but it’s bad for people who did need to get it via LFR for whatever reason.
For me it’s the dragonflying speed nerf that o can’t forgive, I wanted to fly around like that as a DH where my character was the mount and they FINALLY make that a reality with the new race only to heavily nerf it thus forcing all of us to ride around on the dragon mount instead of flying around as a dragon because who would want to fly like 300% slower than the max speed?

Or Blizzard could add the mount to LFR and let us play the game how we want. It would not be detrimental to the game or anyone’s experience in any capacity.

Oooooor, Blizzard could just add the rewards back to the content they removed it from for no reason at all.
Again, including LFR has no negative effects at all.

Past anniversaries events with mounts used a LFR system, the game has participation rewards, even free stuff like the contest mount. Blizzard could assing the reward to a permanent green feature like the mage tower with difficulty or just do participation like before, Devs decided to do it via normal and limited time, however the communication was really bad for S4 overall and the lack of rewards for some players just shows a bad image and lack of effort to listen.

They could, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
Is not an anniversary reward thought, is something unique and they never done before, so they are trying to push people into giving it a try.

If one mount is all it takes, they weren’t sticking around for long anyway. 
Anyone know if you will be able to get the achievement and mount in DF by solo’ing the raids?
It’s more about doing everything possible to isolate and alienate players for playing the content they feel comfortable in.
Instead of being even the slightest bit accommodating, they’re doing everything possible to drive their playerbase away.

Limited time content, achievements mentioned during S4, Blizzard could escalate raid to be like mage tower but they prefer to discard content from the game…

They alienate themselves, we all have content we prefer to do, but this is a big game with multiple types of content, you don’t get the reward if you don’t do it.
But Blizzard is the one that determines where those rewards come from. They can choose, right now, to add the cat to LFR with ZERO detriment to the rest of the game.
They made the choice to remove the reward from LFR.
Forcing players to interact with the extremely toxic community is more likely to drive players away than deal with it, especially because there’s nothing else for us LFR oriented players to do in this patch

While the communication is horrid, the fact that people would rather see it added back into LFR for compensation would tell me its not just about the communication at all.

Honestly I get that, I do. However, these guys DO have a point. They DID say LFR players could get it then change it. I personally could deal with it either way, if I were Blizz at this point, I would say okay, slime mount in LFR your right, we did say that deal. THEN I’d say… Normal players can earn the caterpillar mount! Something like that, EZ fix! Or (I’m dreaming here) a soulhunter mount recolor lmao (holds up begging hands) Ill try to earn it I swear!

Idk they said hey you can get this for participating, then they took it back. No matter how you look at it, its not a fair move no matter what the reward is here.

Blizzard as a company specializes in misleading people, the did it with their frat boy environment that got them in legal trouble (and nothings really changed same dork who turned a blind eye in charge as before), they’ve been doing it with Overwatch 2 for… how many years? And most recently Diablo IV and Immortal.
In the end they feed you bs like “We care about your feedback” nah, the forums are just a placebo effect. The forums are just here to make you think they care. The feedback they look at is the silent majority who use their wallets. i.e. “hmm this expansion sucks … unsub” The forums are here to contain all the complaining and more for damage control/mitigation so your not going to other places and spreading it. Feedback on here means jack squat to them.
You become numb to it after a while, and tend to just ignore the forums and just enjoy what you can out of the game and “adapt” the adapting could be this, or them neutering a whole spec from a class, i.e. aff locks, arcane mages and so on. It all varies and depends how you look at it all.

I bought a 6 month sub as someone whos only raiding experience comes from LFR and i bought it without even knowing about any Slime Cat Mount. Its a heavy assumption to say that the majority of the playerbase outside of GD even knows about the Slime Cat or WoW news in general.
Most of the people i meet in battlegrounds didnt even know season 4 was coming out today!
