Again, that really doesn’t help if your schedule is so horrid that you can’t do normal raiding on a schedule.
To use a perfect example, my brother used to raid mythic all the damn time. He was in one of the top guilds on his realm. Then he started raising a family and started putting more hours into his work to support them. He can’t even raid normal right now because he’s simply too busy. His tribe of 6 kids takes up most of his time the moment he gets home from work, especially since two of them are infant twins, and one of them is only just a few years older than the twins are.
He gets his ‘raid fix’ by raiding LFR. It allows him to experience the content on his terms, when he has time and he can just queue up at will. He was actually looking forward to getting the slime cat too. I actually had to tell him over the phone what Blizzard did and he’s pissed because now he misses out through no fault of his own.
No one, absolutely no one, should be supporting this move. It is misleading, it is scummy, and it punishes players who can only do LFR content as their form of end-game.

Please take your clown shoes with you when you leave.
Call me crazy, but RL is more important, if he is pissed about a virtual cat. Dud can just play another game or find 10 people with his schedule and do the normal raids. But he did not complain about this when he did mythic raid.
Blizzard really should just bite the bullet on this one and change the achievement back to “Any raid”, accept their mistake and just do better testing next time around. They are burning what good will with the community they have gained over the last couple of months.
I think its an amazing change, gives my guild a reason to raid together and make events with each other. I love more guild oriented events, if it was LFR everyone would just do LFR while watching netflix and not communicate.
Never give an inch to people crying about rewards, they will never stop demanding other things. We seen it time and time again when they cry to nerf solo content or LFR in the past.
You know you can join a community and only raid once every two weeks with them right? your not a tank so not that important, dps there are hundreds of that can replace you. Join a community and jump into normal raids when its available for your time or just ask. People will help out and run the same raid even if they are locked of gear.
People seem to be misquoting the original wording of the meta achievement. It never said ‘complete all three raids on any difficulty’. It just said ‘complete all three raids’. Of course, not specifically mentioning any difficulty could reasonably imply that LFR is included, but I just want to remind people that no wording in the achievement got replaced or changed. Just added.
LFR is a courtesy. For players to have the ability to experience the content with minimal effort. Minimal effort should offer minimal rewards. LFR-only players should be grateful that LFR exists at all.
I’m a 235 hunter my man. It takes literally hours to even enter a group, assuming it doesn’t fall apart at the first hiccup.
I love how the forums assume there’s these mythical communities full of players at all times of the day that are just standing by at any given moment to help every single player.
Most of these communities are ghost towns.
This entire game is a courtesy? tf?
It should still offer some rewards outside of garbage gear every once in a while.
This is why people don’t want to to do normal.
The amount of people who look down on people playing the game the way they want to is just insane.
