Yall want to convince blizzard to do that? And raid everyday?

People do M+ every day, why not?

comparing m+ to raiding again. oh boy oh boy. i’m getting smarter by the second.

Go ahead ask for it. Hopefully your guildies will be up for it. Its already something people do with alts.

A lot of people do ask for it, and for raid loot to be increased, and for more boss skips, and less trash, and for raiding to be made better in general.

The problem is that every time we ask for these things, M+ players come out of the woodwork and throw a tantrum.

That would ruin much of the appeal of mythic +.

The way you folks whine about gearing they ought to just remove gear. lol

Sorry to tell yall, but as long as the only content in the game for PvEing is M+ and Raiding this is most likely how the system is going to be. We’ve tried with less gear, more gear, valor capped, valor uncapped, what else do we have left to try.

Do we remember the gear debacle in bfa?

Lol.

IQD/Ruby/Changeling etc all came from M+.

Can’t yall just M+ because you want to M+? Why do you need spammable loot? Why do you need to be rewarded with mythic raid ilvl loot for utterly failing to time a +15 key? Why do you need to get higher ilvl loot than the content you are failing to time as rewards ?

A lot of you are missing Ion’s point. At the moment, anyone can just fail their way through some M+ keys and are rewarded with a choice of 3 Mythic ilvl loot items.

Failing your way through M+ is far, far easier than clearing the raid on Heroic (and normal depending on the level). If you’re a standard normal/aotc guild you can easily deck yourself out in loot that is better than what you can get from the raid before you’ve progressed through the whole thing.

The simple fact is everytime M+ gearing is brought up you have a whole bunch of people immediately REEEEEEEEEing because they know how imbalanced it is and how good they have it, and are afraid that their trivially easy source of gearing (that rewards failure) might be changed.

For the good of the game, M+ needs to be brought in line with every other gearing method in the game.

You can run it, you just wont get loot. Same as raiding when you have already killed a boss. I thought M+ wasn’t about the loot?

But that’s the point isn’t it? To reduce the appeal of M+? Basically it sounds like Ion knows M+ needs a nerf. :man_shrugging:

Ilevel doesn’t matter in m+ and there’s absolutely no arguing against that. It’s literally all relative. I’m not sure when yall will understand this.

ilvl is just some number blizzard artificially slapped on gear. it doesn’t matter. what matters in m+ is the end key level you can push with the gear.

A +10 at 200 ilvl is equally as difficult and impressive as a +40 at 300 ilvl.

Raiding should be made better but not via nerfing mythic +.

What they really ought to do is create dungeon sets in addition to tier sets. Seperate the gearing and let people fully choose the end game activity they want to participate in without impacting the others.

But then people would probably complain about having to have multiple sets…

The best way to make the game better is to ruin fun aspects of it rather than improving others, obviously.

Then again… it is Blizzard we’re talking about. That is basically their MO.

Raid loot in S1 was a joke, for example.

I got all of my (high ilvl) tier set via M+.

M+ has ruined the fun aspect of raiding for a lot of guilds, but that’s OK right?

What they should do is cap ilvl based on content completion.

If you have a mace (doesn’t matter where you got it!) and you walk into M+, and you haven’t done anything in M+ before, that mace is gonna start out at the lowest ilvl. As you do stuff in M+, the mace’s ilvl in M+ goes up.

Repeat for raids. The same mace goes into raid with you, the more you do, the better the mace gets.

So somebody who does a ton of raiding, but very little M+, is going to have a higher ilvl in the raid than in the dungeon, befitting their greater completion in that content.

Avoids the “too many items in bags” problem.

And? I’m well aware you can get tier from m+. That isn’t the point of the suggestion. lol

You’re absolutely right. Since Blizz has no idea how to make raids more attractive than M+ is now, it sounds like that’s exactly what they’re gonna do.

PSA for Blizz: The trick to making raids more attractive is to delete 75% of the trash mobs and have respawns in front of each boss. Also bring back bonus rolls.

I do my one dungeon a week on a few toons. And sometimes someone leaves and we gotta 4 man. I do enjoy getting loot for doing it on a handicap.

Raiding also has more boss kills. One raid boss is like doing a dungeon. One mythic raid boss is a whole vault loot you have to wait 7 days for. No valor to farm. Heroic gear is like valor cap gear.

Having like 20-24 bosses to farm for a mthic raid is pretty decent. When you can do that and your dungeons.

Not to mention getting access to raid trinkets and weapons.

Looks like we will be sipping more wine other than affix is too hard rants
