It's good to see Ion believes M+ loot is too good

I still don’t know why Anduin couldn’t have been the end Boss of Sepulcher and then have the last 3 be the Season 4 Raid.

Cause season 4 was them using ilvls from scrapped raid earlier. Now I don’t agree with Brewa but the major characters thrown at us around the shadowlands along with Thros were way too cleanly wrapped up: devos, mueh’zala, gharmal, uther, etc.

I personally think there would have been a tier before sanctum sort of like tier 11 of us cleaning up the remaining threats in the other 3 zones besides revendreth in mini raids. No more than like 4 bosses in one mini-raid. Maybe 4 in ardenweald, 3 in maldraxxus and 2-3 in bastion.

As a bit of note they always had conduit levels up to rank 15 (ilvl 330) even before the expansion dropped. So the ilvl bracket/allocation was there.

Also for anduin, I feel like they may have comboed a scrapped uther fight with whatever anduin was going to have for sepulcher. Hence why he just has what he has. Because we do see in the story for zereth mortis the jailer looking for the entrance and then us trying to stop him. His presence really isn’t out of nowhere, nor is the anduin thing as much as brewa says except during the 9.0-9.1 questlines and specifically torghast.

Honestly, blizzard could have handled it a lot better. They could have accessed Brewa’s extra dimension shoebox anywhere outside the raid. How long would it have taken them to build a short chain of “we finally found the door to his clubhouse… sic’em”. Would it really have been longer than gluing it to the end of the raid?

For us, Anduin was too much, motivation was too low, loot wasn’t a driver anymore, and there were more bosses to go … the wheels came off our wagon at that point.

Make M+ gear default to Mythic 0 ilvl in raids and pvp.
Make all raid gear default to Normal raid Ilvl in M+ and pvp.
Make all pvp gear base lvl in M+ and raids.

Then give is an extra 3 bags to put all our gear in
Then go play

Do you realize how silly that sounds?

Nothing is going to be done.

Raiding should be removed from the game if anything.

This expansion, raiding has been about as much fun as slapping myself in the face with a fly swatter.

Split second after getting AOTC in Castle Nathria, i logged out and didn’t come back for a year. It was filled with fights that were basically perfection checks on even Heroic difficulty (one player messes up on basically any mechanic that exists, it’s a wipe).

Sire, if one person died in phase 2, we wiped it. We knew there was no point in pushing phase 3 without max b rezes.

And don’t even get me started on Sepchucher. Easily the best example of what happens when you only give a crap about balancing for world first runners. I’m surprised they still aren’t nerfing that garbage raid

yeah but would satisfy the whinging purist, be it whatever content they play. I agree is silly though

These are some of the worst ideas I’ve seen. How about instead of nerfing something people enjoy, we just buff the things they don’t? And if m+ gearing is so godly and outpacing mythic, why is your ilvl so much higher than mine when I run waaaay more keys than you do?

I’ve been advocating for that for years, the issue at hand was showing what would have to be done to M+ to bring it into balance with raiding in its current form.

Please read the thread.

u tried to tell me that bfa loot was good for m+ and overpowered lmao how can i take this seriously

I did, it’s the same thread as the other 900 on this topic. Keys can be failed, therefore making them a weekly lockout is not feasible. People need to be able to try the timer again, to build their key level and progress. Locking it behind a weekly lockout would make it the most tedious un-fun version of itself and would cause the entire community to collapse. It would not push more people into raiding, it would push people out of the game. I want to build my keys up, I don’t want to have to blow my casual friends off that week who needed to fill their vault because I got locked to a 23. That further divides the playerbase, takes away agency from the player, and defeats the whole purpose of the mode.

Raid has the lockout it does because of the level of gear and frequency with which it drops. They want you to clear it over and over again, they want those MAU numbers looking good. We could remove the lockout and instead have each boss drop 1-3 items. Then you could endlessly farm it like mythic+, but for actually max level gear and not the garbage the keys have it capped at. Would that make you happy?

“yo bro u wanna do a 25 jy? nah im locked to a 25, you got a 24?”

lockout for m+ has to be the single worst idea i have ever read on the forums lmao

Apparently not.

I like how you don’t address anything I say. Keep dodging, Brewa.

This comment here proves you haven’t read the thread and are out of touch. This thread is about normal/heroic raiding, and how M+ invalidates that AND you think the level and frequency of raid drops are better (they’re not, the only people who say they are are just lying to try and not have their gravy train balanced).

ain’t nothin invalidates raiding with friends, loot or not.

I wish the loot from m+ was like ilvl 10 and got boosted to 300 in m+ so that people would stop complaining about loot when they don’t even consume the content and barely raid as well. like u dont even do the content that you’re advocating for lmao

I mean, I clearly do but I guess just like everything else you just make stuff up to try and justify the gravy train.
