Honestly, it’s been a while coming. It wasn’t a snap decision. I see no reason to hold the green text title if it is nothing more than just a badge to wear. Honestly, MVP’s are just suppose to be exemplary posters but I suppose I had the ulterior goal of trying to get sight on “the little guys” posts. RPers, transmoggers, race fans, etc. The key word being try. So many different people and views play this game and sure their playstyles and want’s may not be the most frequent or engaged topics but their voices deserved to be heard too and I guess the selfish side of me wanted to try and do everything I could to direct some attention that way haha.

It is what it is though and don’t feel bad, it’s okay Things happen, thing’s don’t always work the way ya hope they do ya know? I’ll move on to different things and hope the Community Council shows some fruit. They are seemingly getting more acknowledgement from Ion and the Devs than MVP’s did haha.

It’s greatly appreciated, here is hoping that the Drac’thyr end up being what people hope for. Worgen changed quite a bit between Alpha and Release so who knows what could come.

Have you though? Blizzard is listening now more than ever to feedback, and I think that’s at least due in part to positive feedback/criticism. I don’t know what all that green text business is about, but I do know there has to be more level headed people on the forums, so give it a second thought.

Haha, I appreciate it, but I have been thinking about this for a while now. I might try for the Community Council one day but for now I think I will go the way of Snowfox (though not as legendary or memorable by any margin)

The number of replies I have gotten in my time of an MVP of players going “X isn’t important, way for an MVP to waste time on X instead of important issues like my class balance!” always made me chuckle.

Hes been MVP for awhile now, at least since BFA if I remember correctly. Might have been even some time in Legion.

I guess not everyone keeps up with MVPs but I at least knew Byuck was one because he was in one of the better guilds on my old server cluster.

The more unrecognizable they are, the better they are. If you don’t recognize a name, it’s probably because there was no reason for you to.

He was really helpful a lot and was good to people. At some point he changed classes too and the interaction we had with him being jokey about it was one of my favorite memories from the forums. You likely don’t remember him as he wasn’t a lighting rod for drama the way some others were.
