I’ve leveled a lot of characters. A lot of quests do require the low level to collect something off a mob that also drops a valuable resource that max level players will farm for. Blizzard gives higher level players an incentive to keep lower levels from completing their quests. In some of those zones I’d be lucky to tag one of the many mobs I had to kill for certain quests. Higher level players would run around one shotting everything.
Nothing to do with botters or boxers. Blame game designers that get excited about high levels treating low levels badly and think it’s a great game mechanic.
Out in the world you get motes, which it takes 10 of to make a primal. Primal water, primal fire, primal earth, primal life I think.
It’s been in the game for 16 years. Multi boxers at this point probably make a noticeable percentage of subscribers. You’re asking blizavision to give up money. Blizavision doesn’t give up money it needs all its crumbs.
Report them. Keep on reporting them. And then do it again. If you feel they are botters then reporting them and saying you suspect this character is a bot is sufficient.
I received an ingame mail from Blizzard support thanking me for my report and saying action had been taken against the accounts. They DO read your reports and they DO act.
You know a ton of Blizzards bot problems would be solved if they only allowed one instance of WoW per computer and allowed it to check if it were being run in a VM. At this point it’s just stubbornness, and eventually it’s got to give.
Edit: If it’s me: Since I’ve been on the forums whenever I discuss multiboxing, I always get at least one message flagged for one reason or another. Even a forum mod had to unhide it. There’s mmm… I want to say 2-3 people on the forums that do this to others. Stick around awhile, you’ll see.
Kitten has a huge victim complex and thinks everyone’s out to get him/her/it because of their anti-multiboxing stance. When really they get flagged for being hostile and toxic towards others.
Kitten has me ignored, so my posts will show up as hidden for them. But instead of just ignoring me, they have to make passive aggressive remarks instead.
Agreed. It’s also become extremely annoying to see people defending multiboxing with the nonsensical analogy that 10 characters controlled by one person = 10 normal people or shift the blame onto the victim by saying they should go do something else instead.
