Item disappeared from bags between play sessions

I put in a ticket (somehow, despite having to use the browser dev tools to fix the broken CSS on the Submit button that made it disabled and unable to actually submit my ticket) for this issue but I’m only receiving the boilerplate automated responses (as always).

I am 99% confident that I received an Enchanted Harbinger’s Runed Crest from a weekly chest, I believe it was the Timewalking event one.

I looked at the re-crafting screen to see what the difficulty of upgrading a crafted sword with said item would be. Though I lacked any of the other materials that would have ever allowed me to attempt the craft if I even had wanted to (which I didn’t), nor was I near an anvil/crafting table of any kind. I was just looking out of curiosity, and closed the crafting window then went about my play session and eventually logged out.

A day or so later, logging in, doing some delves, I went again to look for the enchanted crest in my bags, pondering if I might commission another higher progressed blacksmith to recraft my sword. It was then that I noticed the enchanted crest I had distinctly remembered acquiring was nowhere to be found. I checked my bank, nothing. It seemingly vanished.

I went to the item restoration page, which I discovered is completely inoperable (not to say I am surprised… the support site is an utter travesty) Showing all of characters all at level 0 besides curiously a low level alt that is somehow magically already playing the next expansion at level 90. None with any items in their restoration queue whatsoever.

So even if it were a matter of accidentally vendoring it (which I’m not even sure is possible), I would have no means of restoring it through that channel due to the aforementioned complete failure of the website to function.

Please can I have an actual human review this occurrence? Also, can you hire some web developers to fix your utterly demolished support site (I’m available!)? Or is it like that on purpose?

One thing I would actually more or less do is actually try resetting the WoW User Interface incase of display issues caused by addons or what not. Which yes, can happen.

And if that is not the cause, then next thing I would recommend is actually reporting it as a bug

As for the Item Restoration page showing characters at level 0, I am not sure the reasoning behind that, but in regards to restoring items, craftable/stackable items are not able to be restored, even by a GM. The only time GM’s can restore those sort of items if given permission by the development in order to do so.

EDIT: Also, try checking you bank, including regent bank as well, incase you’ve placed in the bank.

Most replies in tickets are actually templates. Blizzard does use them in order for better communication and understanding between them and the customer.

Spamming or Trolling

This category includes:

  • Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
  • Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums

  • Be given a temporary or permanent ban from the forums, depending upon severity

You’ll need to keep working through the ticket system, so make sure you have another one in, as blue’s here can’t forward a ticket or anything for you, though they can sometimes help clarify what happened.

The first response you receive can sometimes be automated and have not had actual eyes on it, but if you’ve submitted a second one (or more) that should be looked at by a real person.

I just did the entire week from Tuesday…

So looking at the Cache of Timewarped Treasures it looks like two things came from it. The Twinblade of the Phoenix and the Timewarped Pouch (100 timewarped badges).

I looked specifically for the Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest, but I’m afraid I don’t see that character receiving one this week, sorry.

Is that the chest that comes from the Black Temple timewalking, or the one from the 5 timewalking dungeons or raid bosses? It was one of those two if I am not mistaken.

My memory is clear of the moment of receiving it prompting me to open the recrafting screen and see what quality I could get if I attempted a recraft with it.

The quest the enchanted runed harbinger crest came from was killing Queen in the raid. I made a similar mistake thinking I got it from timewalking/Illidan.

The other one, Cache of Nerubian Treasures from A Burning Path Through Time

That one received Ulgrax’s Morsel-Masher. I don’t see anything else of note.

I suppose it’s entirely possible I mixed up receiving a non-enchanted regular “Runed Harbinger’s Crest” as an enchanted one, but I am still perplexed as I seem to remember successfully selecting the Enchanted crest as a reagent in the recraft screen to see how it affected the quality outcome.

Did I receive any of the aforementioned regular “Runed Harbinger’s Crest” on that same day specifically? I know I received a few as recently as yesterday evening.

Sorry, I went to lunch and completely forgot to get back to this one.

Yes, I see two occasions during week where you received two Runed Harbinger Crests, about 90 minutes apart.
