My guess is, that I need to go get the dungeon done on my Ally toon, and I will be done.
Same issue all but the Dungeon is completed on my alliance but 2 of my Horde have completed it all . This should of been explained from the beginning.
Again that says nothing about the mechagon threat which has been know as an unlock requirement for a month+. Only the exalted part of the requirement counted towards it which was what people from the PTR were posting here.

Just says I would have to do the unlock questline on an Alliance character. Which makes sense because obviously my Horde character isn’t going to just be able to waltz into the Stormwind Embassy.

Re-logging for me fixed it just now. The quest is called “Urgent Care”.
I believe the info about horde unlocking mechagnomes was also told to me awhile back so if you guys don’t get that quest either keep commenting / submitting bugs, etc.
Lol you should read the rest of his thread. He “believes” the alliance character will also have to do the intro quests.
Maybe you can submit a bug report and include that tweet?
I’m not saying you (and others) shouldn’t get the clarification on the matter. I fully agree they should come out and say what’s what; however, if it’s not letting you get them due to the circumstances you’re referencing … odds are it may be working as intended.
It’s also completely possible it’s an error on Blizz’s part too.
Either way, if it’s intended … I feel it’s warranted, given how Alliance can’t do the same thing. What’s fair is fair.

Well, if alliance players need to level vuldunai (or whatever you spell it), I think it is just fair that horde must do the same for trashgnome?
I have to run the dungeon on my Afflock and then it “should” unlock the AR chain. I did exalted on my Horde BM so hopefully (if the dungeon queue isn’t hooped like another thread seems to indicate is the case) once that’s done I’ll be able to finish the unlock. We’ll see, but I have 2 wings of dungeon to run before I can say it works…and since I won’t be able to do that until tonight I can’t confirm anything.
Most likely to be a bug. I don’t see blizzard screwing the horde.
Why do people seem to think making a new Alliance character is “horde bias”?
By intro quests, isn’t that supposed to mean unlocking the zone? Because I did that last night.
I never said that. I do find it strange that you can unlock one faction content grinding rep but the other can’t (not that I trully care, anyways, since both races are garbage for me, but still strange nevertheless). But well, you are free to think whatever you wish and put as many words in my mouth as you wish.

This allied race is tied to a Dungeon , Vulpera were not . Alliance got the same path except for us Horde we had to make damn sure we did the whole mechagnome questline to unlock . Yes it could be intro quest involved however my 120 Pally alliance did the intro quest and still hasn’t gotten to unlock Mechagnomes because of the last quest to Kill King Mech. So this is simply a bug or blizzard just couldn’t have a patch that was complete.

That’s how it worked with previous allied races. If the rep was neutral, we could do the questline as long as we had it completed somewhere on the account. If Horde got Tortollans or something it would be understandable that Alliance could unlock it on just a max level Horde character. No one complained that you guys could get Nightborne and Highmountain Tauren in that fashion.
