I’ve run across plenty of college students in their 20s. I’ve never seen many teenagers in WoW, even back in the TBC days.
This was not the trolling I saw coming today. I was in my mid twenties when WoW came out and now I’m almost forty. That said I don’t feel old at all. I see old merely as a frame of mind. I know teenagers who feel old.
But if you feel this game is for old folks by all means cancel sub. It’ll mean one mess whiner in game.

Yes…I doubt that a lot of teenagers are looking to fire up an MMO.

That’s the weird thing about gaming, imo, especially because most of the people you see as the face of gaming are in their 20’s. In fact, aside from WoW, the people I play with are mostly in their 20’s. I was even thinking about this as I lay in bed last night. I was thinking that, not only do I feel comfortable in WoW with my guildies, many of which are 40+ and when we started playing together we were hovering around 30, but when I’m playing any game, I feel as if these “kids” are my peers. I don’t even think of them as being especially young, even though I often think about myself getting older. But, that’s because it feels extremely weird to me. Like…how did this happen? Because, honestly, everything I think of myself makes me feel like I’m still around 30. It makes no sense to me that I’m not. lol

Pretty sure every demon hunter Ive ever met is 12. Double jumping and dashing on cooldown, without exception.
Or maybe Adderall abuse in society is a far bigger problem than I realized.

My spare time in my late teens went to doing anything I could to get out of the house and away from my parents. Sitting around at a computer was strictly reserved for homework. My nephews are pretty much the same way now that they’re off global quarantine. They’re never home if they can help it.

Im 37. I dont think is is particuarly old in the grand scheme of life. I think 40 is technically middle aged and Im almost there.
But it sucks when all my “friends” and coworkers have families, lives jobs, mortages, and never time for video games. I have a good job and my home is paid for but I miss living in an apartment! I just dont care about being an adult. I live the life of a 21 year old and I dont want anything else.
Anyone want to adopt a 37 year old adolescent?

WHen did WoW started? It started November of 2004. I was here at December of 2004. Where were you then?
And I am still here… still kicking.
I built a powerful pc for my daughter. I thought she would play Warcraft too. No. She took my DSLR camera and used the pc for photo and video editing.
I also invited my nephew to see if he would like Warcraft. Nope, he played Overwatch instead. He was into Fortnite, Minecraft and now into Roblox?
