That’s flat out wrong. They came down on people for safespotting despite “pvp solutions”. Zone disruption is zone disruption regardless of the server type.
The amount of mouthbreathers that answered “PvP oN a PvP sErVeRs” is astonishing. All of you get an F in reading comprehension.
OP explicitly asked if an Alliance player colluding with Horde to kill quest NPCs and collect tolls from players trying to quest is against the EULA.
To answer OP’s question: Horde raiding quest hubs is not against the EULA. However, the “toll” component of an Alliance alt being there to collect gold for the right to quest might be zone disruption. Now, will Blizzard do anything about it? Doubtful.
Is there a PvP solution to this problem? If yes…then its a PvP problem.
This situation can be solved by killing the small handful of horde…therefor it is pvp on a pvp server. Everyone is super hung-up on the 1 guy asking for gold when that is literally irrelevant…just kill the horde and problem is instantly solved through PvP.
It’s simple. Pay the 30g for a permit to quest in peace or engage me in pvp
OP is not complaining about the PvP, he’s complaining about the motivation behind it being a cross faction scheme to sell quest permits.
And the problem goes away if you just kill them. This has a PvP solution.
How dense are you exactly? Would you say more or less than a neutron star?
You just love insulting people when you don’t have a response, dont ya? lol.
Bottom line, PvP server, PvP happened and there is a PvP solution. If you don’t like it, PvE servers exist.
You can do the exact same thing on a PvE server. Its even worse because there’s nothing you can do about it. Do you not understand this?
What? People killing players on a PvE server? Or people killing NPCs?
Because PvE happening on a PvE server isn’t a problem either. Max level characters wipe out furbolgs all the time and people leveling will hardly ever get a chance to kill them.
PvE happening on a PvE server isn’t a problem either.
I’m not sure what part of OP’s problem you’re not understanding. The Horde players are repeatedly and for extend periods of time killing quest NPCs and objectives to prevent questing, and asking for gold through an Alliance alt to make it stop. Do you understand this as being the premise of OP’s gripe, or do we have to send you back to 10th grade reading comp?
You literally cannot help yourself? Rofl, You had to edit that post for the explicit purpose of slinging out an insult.
Look. There is a PvP solution to this guy’s problem. If this happened on a a PvE server…most quest NPCs are flagged for PvP and will flag anyone attacking them. If they’re not flagged…just go a different place to farm exp.
There is nothing a small handful of people can do that is considered “zone disruption”
I know you dont understand that, and its easier to sling out insults than trying to understand.
Much easier being as dense as hard tack than even trying to understand that this is a problematic that goes well beyond the PvP and its solution.
If you say so bud. But devolving into insults ins’t a great look for a strong argument. If and when this happens on a PvE server, then maybe.Until that time…there is no problems except the ones you made up in your head.
But this specific guy’s problem is a PvP problem. And has a PvP solution.
Great critical thinking skills. You’ll make a fine corporate mouthpiece one day.
I guess you physically cannot help yourself.
Can’t physically help but feel sorry for you and anyone who has to deal with you and your lack of discernment.
Take a step back for a moment of self reflection. You’re taking real time out of your day to just randomly insult a stranger. And you seem to have a compulsion to do so. Not a healthy sign.
Yep. Used to happen all day every day in Sentinel Hill.
Yeah, but did you have an Alliance alt sitting there collecting a toll? This makes the issue vastly different.
