so you have access to warriors, paladins, dks and demon hunters. and likely will be getting druids as well. maybe even shaman.
out of those, velfs only have warriors and dks. which of those should velf players ask for when blizz is discussing giving ALL races access to most classes.
arguably BE’s shouldn’t get druids or shamans either, so that’s not an argument to make really.

Paladin, druid, and shaman aren’t really compatible with the void.
Maybe they could do shaman since they might already have dark shaman assets left over from MoP.
However, dark shaman still causes problems with the whole class fantasy dealio. Blizzard would have to develop separate spaces for those skinned versions every time they do class fantasy (extra world building, extra quest writing, etc) or else just exclude those players from huge swaths of gameplay.
I personally think high elf for alliance players should be happy that they’ve already gotten twice the customization passes as everyone else, step aside, and let other races (and even the actual void elf fans) get some attention for once, and let Blizzard do what Blizzard does.
You don’t see me making thread after thread after thread spamming the forums over Belf druids because I don’t feel entitled to it and I actually recognize that the world and World of Warcraft doesn’t revolve around me and my desires as a Blood Elf RPer. I RP one using a monk, my imagination, and TRP. If we get it, great. If we don’t, I’m going to keep RPing it regardless.
i’m not spamming the forums and i support belfs getting all the classes, including new ones. for unique or difficult to pair up class/race combos, i support blizz designing ways to approximate the functionality, such as transformer like mechas that mimic druid shapeshifts but mechanical, maybe via a tinker class and using arcane instead of nature spells. and voidadins. and other odd combos. surely you arent suggesting its okay for every other race to have options as long as velfs dont get those things?

Gee. You’re right. There’s never been a void elf / high elf paladin demand thread ever on the forums before made by you or your Anti-Belf high elf for alliance movement friends.
Your attempt at quid pro quo is actually pretty insulting to my intelligence. Superficially saying you support something for Blood Elves isn’t going to make me forget all the other demands currently being made.
And for lore shattering combos I support doing nothing I actually roleplay and actually care about what little lore hasn’t been completely dumpstered.
I think it’s totally okay for Void Elves to get passed over on this one after getting spoiled with twice the number of customization passes as every other race and a whole second racial identity which completely encroached on the only identity that Blood Elves had.
Yet despite all y’all have gotten, the demands for more and more continue incessantly. It’s very Veruca Salt.

Well I’m just offering input on your input:
- It’s a bad idea.
- No. Paladins use holy in one form or another.
- There’s no high elf paladin order prior to the fall, so there’s no helf paladin fantasy in lore so I don’t know why anti belfers are so obsessed with this.
- Class skins cause immersion problems or will cost more development time when class fantasy stuff comes up by requiring special new zones just for them.
- There are already two plate classes for void elves that can be used for a rift blade roleplay. In fact, the only rift blade with any abilities uses warrior abilities.
- Void Elves have already gotten more than their fair share of things lately. Everyone else should get a turn, especially pandas, gnomes, and forsaken.
- When people make thread after thread with the same “input” or “request” it comes off as a really entitled and petulant demand and will be taken as such.

every person sporting a void elf forum avatar is not a hive mind with every other void elf forum avatar. i dont even main a void elf. my main is a human. and i am currently not even playing retail. i’m maining another human on tbc classic and likely wotlk classic. but when i play retail, i’d enjoy having options on my void elves
I play retail, and I’m a roleplayer. Lore getting dumpstered directly affects me. I have to deal with the results of you and your friends’ Anti-Belf crusade while you play a different version of the game.
I don’t think the needs of someone who doesn’t even play retail and a handful of people who want to ignore everything after Warcraft 2 should trump everyone who plays a blood elf.

i have more belf alts than velf alts, i think. when i play my belfs, i want same options for classes as everyone else. if everyone else is gonna get most classes, i want that for my belf too.
