The garrison is a great spot to park bank alts. And also a extra free teleport.

I decorate mine as winter veil, then i can use the ?gnomenizer? year round to transform into a winter veil gnome.

Good spot for sorting out crap if you have all the facilities up. Bank and Trading Post. Even the PVP building is still useful if you do Ashrans.

I’ve played games with player housing before, and it was never done right.
It was always just a building that you could customize the inside.
Those games didn’t have the ability to phase, or create an instance for each individual.
But I doubt it would work.

Mine spends six months with the hallows decorations up and six months with the winter veil decorations up. Always like to visit to view them.

When you are patient then you can create the Garrison including port and do the ship missions for the heirloom ring.

Also there are some toys available when you build the inn.

Otherwise I am not aware of anything from garrisons which still has worth outside of WoD.

So, I built one on my new main, got it to tier 3, because I’m trying to farm Apexis for one of the mounts I don’t have. Do I even need to bother doing any of the buildings, except for that achievement for defending them during an Invasion?

I have three of the Nemesis achievements, but I didn’t think this could still be done. Maybe I will level my Warrior (who got those achievements and has a fully built Garrison) and finish that up… One day…

I am working in the garrison to collect the crafting transmog sets. I have the leather and cloth sets. I need to get my blacksmith and leatherworker going on the plate and mail sets.

Did you play Archage 1? It was done pretty darn well in that one.

I haven’t played ff14 but i’ve heard good things about the housing
