not really. warriors/fighters are the MOST generic fantasy class/type out there.
Strangely enough, this is the only time I’ve come back to WoW and warrior ended up being my favorite. I’ve never cared for the class, but protection warrior shot up to my #1 spot in DF. No denying that it’s generic, but I think that’s fine.
UNGA BUNGA!
Ok, final thing (for now):

I rolled one on Remix but almost immediately determined that I would not be able to get a realistic opinion on it there, so I’ve remade my Worgen Warrior in Retail, and I’ll be starting on it this weekend.
Warrior will always be bland/boring esthetically. Fighters, warriors, barbarians are universally simplistic.
The fact that Warrior doesn’t have a shallow pre-defined theme is what makes them cool to me. There are so many endless varieties to how you could theme a warrior, and I like that they can feel like more of just a general adventurer. A Demon Hunter is just edgelord green fire, a DK is emo death magic, a paladin is all holy light, etc. A warrior is whatever you want them to be.
I really enjoy the health regen eleement of Warriors. It makes them feel like a Wolverine character. And that its “learnable” in WoW is an endlessly cool element to me. As if they have somehow learned to reverse the Curse of Flesh.
Theyre in an odd spot relative to the Cosmological chart, but it is what it is. Their class hall was woth Odyr, but theyre so far beyond Titan creations at this point that he doesnt fit with them anymore, and neither does Order.
Hey so…
on second thought, this generic rawr smash stuff is kinda fun…
Thematically though, why would you be an Arms warrior over a Fury one?
Why swing 1 big 2H weapon when you can swing 2?
They can run really fast
I thought warriors had super strength and durability, and had the training to take advantage of it. They can take bullets, fireballs, and meteors to the face and shrug it off easily, and respond with a 2 ton sword swung at the speed of sound.
Warriors are super mobile, charging and leaping.
They don’t have much DPS ramp-up time.
They have the coolest looking armor sets.
They don’t fear anything.
Their guttural war cries are so loud that they buff and inspire those around them.
They are masters of arms.
They are war veterans, battle-hardened.
They are favored by Odyn and respected amongst the Valajar.
They are enraged berserkers, protectors, defenders, tacticians.
Blood and honor.
Everyone in remix seems to really like heroic leap
heroic leap is fun when its not arbitrarily not working. Far, far better than it used to be.
there some gems that syncronize well with it, I’m assuming?
welp, time for round ummm…whateverilostcount against The Witness, then back to send this guy to 70.
Same, I’ve tried to start one and it goes nowhere. I like ranged better, but I do play many of the melee from time to time
If seeing “No path available” a bunch is special then sure.
I prefer Melee over range for the most part of any video game, and Warrior (Specifically Fury) is the most fun to play in my opinion. Not too many buttons to worry about, a bit button happy at times (But I like that when I am really into it), I have good mobility with my Heroic Leap and 2 Charges.
However, I oh so miss when I had three (THREE) Heroic Leaps back in Shadowlands thanks to the one belt (I think it was the legendary belt). I would leap around FOR DAYS!!!
(Sips )
Melee in large groups can be pretty hectic and chaos-y. it’s a lot easier, imo to make sense of things and target the right stuff from range.
that’s my main concern at this point.
