Is there anything particularly special/cool/unique about Warriors?

This is how my headcanon interprets it.

Fury warriors swinging two, are as the name implies. Fury. Berserking. Slashing with emotion. Everything around them is potential collateral damage.

Arms warriors are like the blademasters. Fighting with precision and discipline. Striking specifically where needed.

Comes down to tactics and precision vs brute force and barbaric.

I’ve always had trouble getting into Warriors too, but this quote from another thread was always very inspiring:

“oh, you sold your soul away to demons for this kind of power? I just did squats”

Other classes need a leg up from some external power to be strong: shamans ask the elements to help them, paladins shine their flashlights everywhere, DKs go to edgy death magic boot camp and DHs wouldn’t shut up about how they sacrificed everything for [fel magic] power.

Warriors just get so damn MAD that we demolish entire mountains with our own might. We don’t need to get juiced up by magic to be able to do that - let the weaker classes have their much needed clutches to be able to get to our level of power.

They’re the only class that can dual-wield 2-handers. That’s pretty unique,

Warriors are simply men and women. Ultimately, they are the most basic fighting unit you see, yet they are the first on the front line. They don’t use magic, call to the Light, charm pets, or summon the elements.

It is just them, wearing poorly fitted armor or carrying a weapon to heavy or light for them to wield, defending the world from worst monsters imaginable.

This is a very interesting interpretation.

Makes a lot of sense.
