Is there a way to hide your armory and raider io?

I’m trying to get into raiding. In Legion, I got AOTC every tier but it burned me out. This xpac I wanna get back into raiding but no one will take me because I have no experience / progression. Is there a way to hide my armory page and rio page or make them private?

Idk if its possible but i recommend you to instead join a guild tbh, when you are part of a guild its usually more flexible.

Nope, IO is calculated off of leader board scores and armory is always public if you search it, you can hide your profile on the forums though.

But, i don’t see how having a hidden score would be more appealing than having none at all. No experience is no experience no matter how you try and sell it.

Gotta start your own group or find a guild that will take you along. There’s not really a way to hide them.

honestly doing this would probably make it harder to do what your trying to here unless your in a guild. pugging world looks at all these things.

You can go to IO’s website and they have an option for your info to be hidden… but then even less people will invite you

You realize showing 0 info means less will be willing to invite you? That shows someone that only does heroic dungeons and LFR. You are 444 ilvl, join a damn group that has no requirements. JOIN PROGRESSION GUILD GROUPS!!! Your item level alone will get you invited.

Hilarious though, how you’re unwilling to do mythic dungeons with your friends because their IO is low and then you come here being entitled how people won’t take you in because you have no raid history.

Please look in the mirror.

is that a real thing? he won’t do dungeons with his friends because of their io? >_>

That’s NOT true.

do you have a link to the thread in question? maybe he misunderstood you?

People who are inviting will treat a hidden IO/armory/whatever the same way as a low IO/bad armory. It won’t spare you from the struggle. Sad but true. If people have the luxury of picking and choosing candidates, they will use it.

Best way to lift yourself out is to join a group in some way that lets you skip that whole issue altogether. Friends, your guild, bribe the party leader, etc.

Here you go. He’s ashamed of his own post. He says it’s not true, but anyone can just click on his character and find his post history.

Armory no. You can opt out if RIO on their website.

It’s not going to help you though.

Hiding them will just further people’s reason to not play with you. Seriously you can just pug with randoms to get to 1k score. At 940 right now with a weak TD. Tried doing it this week and it worked exactly how I thought it would once we got into the tube.

No, there is no way to hide your Armory. I believe you can private your Raider IO but the thing is… no one will take you if your IO is hidden so even if you could hide both those things you will just get rejected that much more because now they can’t look you up at all.

Oh yes it is. He had the very popular thread last week about refusing to run his friends through dungeons because their IO and ilevel sucked, they just returned to the game.

But then it was revealed that this guy is a known troll on the forums, particularly when it comes to ilevel and IO posts. So we can all move on from this one.
