for me it would raise some red flags if someone hid their io score or aotc (if they had the ability to do so).
i’d probably even take someone with a low io score or lack of aotc just because they’re more transparent. that’s just me though
gl, hope you find a good guild to help you out
Hiding your progression is the same as having no progression.

I find it really hard to believe you can’t get a group with mythic+ 15s and a 2k pvp rating (which is WAY harder than AOTC btw). Any raid leader worth their salt should be able to tell you know your s*** from just that alone.
you would never get accepted in any higher keys with out an io socre its just how it is.
and another reason why m+ needs to go.

people will just deny you for private profile, lol.
Dozer is back rapid fire lately with his IO troll threads.
Making up for lost time.

Io score was invented for people that do really high keys and it works really well for that.
How else would you find people that have some experience in them?
Clearly you can’t just invite anyone to a +15-+20.
And if they remove it people would find another metrics like logs, etc.

Simple, request Blizzard for privacy . That way all the player data would be private.
LFM (insert raid here) must be (insert ilvl thats higher than what said raid drops) and bench 500 pounds. PST

All players that would set it to private would just not get invited. It wouldn’t fix anything for them.

Not if Blizzard forces privacy for everyone.
They would have to remove most addons from working in the game. And remove things like dps meters, don’t think that will happen.
Its Blizzard breaking stuff is what they do

Still that’s not really an argument, it will never happen that they enforce it on everyone. What next removing achievements from ingame? Removing gear inspect? xd People could still then create a blacklist or a goodlist or use discord and just not pug at all ingame.

i don’t understand how people have trouble getting a decent score…
i play wow casually and I managed to do it…(i’m a warcraft 3 player)…
just build your own key, it’s a really quick way to get a decent score…that’s how i started.
If OP is a known troll, why hasn’t he been forum banned yet?
Unlinkable gear /achieves and can’t inspect ? . Yeah I have seen it in other games Ragnarok /Gw2 there’s literally zero way of you telling the experience or gear the other guy has.
You will have to actually have to speak and play with them to figure it out .
Or you will just do a blacklist that is shared by people you already know. And you would just kick people from group (or leave) and not complete m+ with that guy that is terrible. I did this before when I started doing m+ before IO was popular in Legion, some people are not worth wasting my time.
Unfortunately as long as you give the appearance of posting a real discussion, even if people know all you do is post ridiculous posts about one specific topic…they won’t ban you just for that.
