Is there a way to get a refund on a public craft?

Everyone I know goes through their guild for those things as no one wants to pay the gold that public orders deem worthy.

They’re also nonsensical to have as Soulbound needs for crafting orders.

The system needs changes. Overall, I like the new crafting system when it was added in DF. But some of these things need changed to make it better and make public orders actually useful.

If it’s only meant for the things you listed, then don’t even allow gear to be part of it or do what I said and allow the option for minimum quality to be picked. There’s no reason that can’t be part of it. And once upon a time, we were required to provide all mats.

And don’t even get me started on how annoying crafting is this iteration compared to DF. That system needs some tweaking as well.

I appreciate that. It was just a pair of pvp legs. So…I used 5 of those herald things two embellishments and like 7 things off the ah. I can’t even remember now. I am not trying to make it out to be some travesty or blow it out of proportion. I know now…just kinda bummed me out. Lol. One things for sure I’ll never do that again. No matter how long I have to wait. I just came back not long ago so
…all this new stuff is a bit much. I’ll get it fixed though. Just glad I can.

consider your initial cost the cost of learning!

No the system is stupid. You’re better off barking in trade and placing a private order.

I just don’t get anything crafted now unless I know a guildie can do it. I’m not wasting my life begging people in trade chat and then overpaying their ridiculous prices. It’s why I never got anything crafted before this new order system and why I’ll never do it now either.

I was under the impression the crafted pvp gear was bis…after tiering it or whatever. Lol…I’m so out of touch forgive me.

Oh it might be. But I’m a scrub now. So I don’t much care about such things. LOL

If you think of it in terms of tokens, 20k gold is $2. Not a big deal.

I have never, nor will I ever pay a single red cent to this company other than my sub fee. And…expansions of course.

I mean if you want to get on high horses then… that was not smart of you to not research this exact issue before you bought.

This entirely depends on the item. There were some annoying ones (elemental souls) in DF, but in TWW the only soulbound items you supply are heraldries, sparks, and crests. Those are all pretty important to have.

It’s meant for any item. It isn’t meant for setting a minimum quality though. If the perks of a guild or personal order are worked into public, it devalues those further and will introduce the new problems where people list impossible-to-fill orders then whine they go unfilled.

You are required to in public orders

And it really isn’t about the money it’s about the time. I get a handful of hours per week…I’ll never be at the top…so when I get a couple pieces it matters to me. So this was a hindrance for a reason I can’t find any logic behind so it’s annoying to me. Just making a point. I’m usually not a jerk this one just got to me a little.

Which is why I tried to tell you to just buy a token if you’re so worried about it… but whatever… you seem to just want to complain.

Crafted gear cannot be converted into tier. However, pvp item level is unaffected by the quality of the item. A r5 pvp ring has the same pvp stats as a r1 of equal heraldry type

K. Take care.

It absolutely should be. That’s what some of us are saying.

Guild orders will always be the first to go to because most guilds I know don’t charge their members, so it’s just whatever the system charges. And they don’t require mats.

It devalues nothing there.

And personal orders to me shouldn’t even exist. It’s just a monopoly on the system that drives up prices.

Edit to add: I know that makes it sound more akin to the AH itself, but since it’s other people’s mats being used, that does make it different and I think the system should have a min and max amount based off of trending.

So wait…conquest gear and crafted gear have the same stats? Then why craft pvp gear at all? I’m so confused. What happened to just getting a piece of gear…lol…sigh.

How so? He only said he wasn’t going to pay extra besides his sub. He never condemned others for doing so.

Conquest gear has set stats, and for armor pieces it can be catalyzed. Crafted PvP gear will scale to the same level as conquest gear, but you can target specific stats that might not be available on conquest pieces, and it allows you to put two embellishments on which are basically on-equip effects you can build into crafted items

People can indeed buy whatever they want. I just don’t do that. They make plenty of money already. But of course I have no issue with people who do…
