Is summoning an inferno in low-level zones griefing?

I fail to see how summoning an infernal to kill the opposite faction is anything but the textbook defenition of role playing in the massively multiplayer online role playing game World of Warcraft.

Anyone who can’t handle a little griefing can’t handle classic.

This kind of thing was fairly common in vanilla. It was part of the charm.

Honestly, stay away from pvp servers… you will hate them. Wow is made of jerks.

Give a compelling reason why infernals in low level areas need to be removed, Lunni.

Summoning an Infernal in low level areas is perfectly acceptable, as long as you’re willing to suffer whatever consequences Blizzard decides to hand out… just like it was in Vanilla.

It is perfectly fine. I did so from 2006 to 2011 on Stormrage server, probably over a hundred times, without so much as a single warning. Now, you could argue that I somehow got lucky and never had a GM punish me for killing those countless new players, but it would not be a sound argument.

Just hearing people are upset at the idea of this happening brings a smile to my face

I have included a diagram of possible low level plays against an infernal.

How bad do you have to hate an npc to make a bunch of warlocks just to keep it dead indefinitely like this?

The Retail Rats crying always brings a smile to my face :rat:

If I got killed by a rampant Infernal as a lowbie, I wouldn’t even be mad. This is the kind of fun nonsense I’m looking forward to in Classic.

Sandbox worlds are what made Classic great, and what have ground Retail into the theme park House of Horrors ride it is now.

Oh what TF is this?

No it’s not grefing. It’s not against the ToS therefor it isn’t griefing. Griefing is a term that’s always linked to some system of rules in which the act goes against said rules.

If you want to raid Goldshire and summon your infernals, go right the hell ahead and feel no guilt nor pity.

May your cup runneth over with the blood of your insignificant enemies and be dammed the consequences.

Oh man are you in for a surprise. Go on… die near Fizzle. I dare you :stuck_out_tongue:

mutters 20 seconds HAH!

At least we know night elves don’t have to worry about being ganked at their starting area… no one wants to go there
