Is summoning an inferno in low-level zones griefing?

Well it has a one hour cool down and the stone cost like 90 silver to buy. So it’s not really greifing the same people over and over again, unless those people… .Are just really goof balls waiting on the same guy to spawn, then afk for an hour etc.

Again part of Vanilla. Lol Wild West.

Why is the phrase “you need to stay on retail” always the cop-out reply to something you don’t agree with?

Why do people complain about fun? Play retail if you like playing with poop :poop:

Because it seems your feelings get hurt when something doesn’t go your way.

Just by reading your post. In current WoW blizzard will hold your hand. It’s better QoL. Not insulting you, just you may rethink your options.

Were they in 2006 and 1.12? Then they should be available and OK in 2019. Ion said that it would be like you went back in time to 2006. 1.12.

Deal with it.

By the way, congratulations on continuing on your average of 2 new threads created each day.

Because you’re a player playing the game…same as the warlock. Players interact with each other. That’s the nature of the game. And the warlock isn’t abusing a bug. It’s not a game glitch. It’s a spell they have, and there are player actions to counter it. The fact you can is precisely why a GM shouldn’t intervene.

It would be such a shame if Blizzard over regulates Classic in the way they do in Current WoW. They need to adopt a much more hands off, laid back approach and let players handle these things themselves. That is a core component of an mmorpg. Big Brother Blizzard stepping in to protect people from one another is what has made such a boring, bland experience.

Well I’ll let you into my real life situation. I trade stocks for a living. I’m at my computer from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep. So no Classic WoW means the forums are my only activity for WoW.

Just trying to find topics to discuss and this one is important. Don’t want people to get temp banned for something that was allowed in 2006 but may not be allowed in 2019.

Blizzard’s policies have changed since then. So just wanted to make sure.

I mean I expect Blizzard 2019 ToS to be the law of the land. Not their 2006 ToS.

Ion said 2006, and also 1.12. Why do you suddenly think that is open to change?

Also apparently lol tauren fitting through doors was an important thread as well.

Their ToS has changed. We’re going to be using 2019 ToS.

Well, since 99.9% of your posts consist of, ‘It was this way in 1.12, therefore it’ll be this way in Classic’ I think the answer is obvious.

Don’t forget the time machine to 2006 part, Mogar.

Well I haven’t talked about the ToS. I think it’d be foolish to expect them to use 2006 ToS when it comes to rules for Classic.

Anyways! Seems this thread has reached its conclusion since we’re now into talks of telling people to go back and play BFA lol.

Thanks for the replies, everyone.

Can’t wait to drop infernals in starter zones to piss people off

People aren’t flagged for PvP (even on a PvP realm) in a starter zone unless they turn it on, or hit something that is in PvP mode.
So it would not kill players as they appeared.

Infernals are non pvp hostile to everything

But, see, by any definition, someone doing this is simply being a jerk. Period. It’s not even PvP “It’s red it’s dead” STV corpse camping. It’s simple sadism affecting others to no tangible gain within the game. You’re causing suffering for others. Jerk. Capital J Jerk.

If you were dropping the Infernal on, say, the Scarlet Crusade camp, just in the valley outside of SM – that’s different.

When the elite Sons of Arugal ambush you from behind a tree, that’s different.

That’s PvE, the computer doesn’t care. I used to do raid that SM camp with my Imp. Just turn it to active, let it run around and chase after Crusaders. It’s like taking the Imp the Imp Park.

But dropping the Infernal, not once, but several times, on low level characters of your own faction. Killing them, causing repair bills (however minor), and trips to the Spirit Healer. Yea, that’s pretty “one-sided” “fun”.

The main reason it’s not a big issue is simply because the cool down is so long, so the “fun” can’t be sustained to even higher levels of “fun-ness”.

Looking forward to dropping my hostile infernal in starter zones where it will kill defenseless lowbies

Thrall was right all along. Demons are a corrupting influence. It’s reached the point where we’re acting as though summoning them to murder younglings is acceptable.

You all sicken me.
