Yeah? You’re completely correct. But at least this step will mitigate some of that issue.
Personally, I wish there was zero tier in wing 1. Both end of wing bosses could have been in LFR wing 2 and wing 2 could have been delayed like 4 weeks and that would wrap the problem completely.
That said, we’ll probably only interact with LFR like 2-3 weeks at most so not a huge deal in the long run I suppose.
ROFLMAO no it doesn’t. One lousy piece that you’d obsess over is one lousy LFR run if you were so crazed over it. Please. This isn’t an argument. At all.
We’ll have 4, possibly 5 if you’re giga-chad, attempts to get that piece before you would need to resort to LFR. 4 is 100% larger than 2. That definitely helps a lot with the “LFR is mandatory” type of vibe. It’s not an all-the-way fix, but it is what it is.
The TOS and banning of RMT is a decision made by Blizzard. They are not bound by any one thing or law, they made a decision of their own volition to ban these actions because they wanted to create a semblance of fairness for their game. These things could be legalized tomorrow if they so desired, but would you want to play the game at that point? Maybe, but I assume many people would be turned off to a game that just said they stopped caring about these things and would let it happen and also start to heavily monetize these types of transactions themselves. Most people don’t appreciate this type of gameplay and the game population would almost certainly dwindle because no one wants to play a game that is not even remotely attempting to be fair. This is explicitly why it’s against the TOS to begin with, to create a semblance of fairness.
So when it comes to the topic of LFR within the confines of good game design they’ve decided two things; Lower ilevel and delayed progression to create a semblance of fairness.
They could decide LFR can have mythic rewards, a drop down select menu for which item they want, and let it be spammable, but they don’t. Because no one would think that’s fair.
And doing easier content has always resulted in lesser rewards (sans garbage design like TF), but raiding has an extra dynamic to it that other content doesn’t have. Raiding supposed to have a sense of progression to it and something you are supposed to chip away at over a few weeks or couple of months. LFR design is directly contradictory to that design so your progression is simulated to create the balance.
Don’t like it? Do normal. You’re not being delayed like you claim you are, you’re just choosing not to do certain content.
…? This was explained to you already. I guess if you just want to spout buzzwords go ahead, but you’re not actually responding to anyone with this post.
do you see hardcore raiders crying because they can’t do mythic week one?
and no I’m pretty sure if I end up feeling forced to do LFR it would be a pretty unfun experience for me. I don’t care if someone else likes it, and I’m glad it’s there if they do, but I’m personally not a fan of the benny hill clown car experience. Here’s hoping I get tier either in raid or in vault.
That’s not how intelligent discourse works. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. If you state something as fact it is your obligation to provide the evidence. Any claim made without evidence can be summarily dismissed without evidence. In other words, your statement is false until you demonstrate that it is true.
