How was it more accessible? It’s literally the same now, rio and people complaining about rio existed just as much in legion as it does now.
It’s absolutely not the same. The dungeons have been designed to have more annoying trash, the affix stacking has been designed to make the learning curve harder for those getting started.
Raider io is irrelevant to this discussion.
And in legion you could list a +2 and in minutes you’d have elite players fill your group. They had an incentive to be there, which was intentionally removed in BfA, so “elite players wouldn’t feel forced” to do low keys. But also to keep scrubs from getting help that elitists don’t think they deserved.
Oh lord get over yourself. It I listed a +2 right now it would fill immediately as well.
All available to casual players.
Because those players have spent a lot of time refining their gearing so that they have that advantage, all of which as accessible to every player.
They’ve upgraded their cloak corruption to get additional resistance, they’ve grinded visions and WQ assaults to get echoes to buy the best corruptions for them etc.
M+15 has 465 ilvl drops, 475 for the single weekly quest.
Heroic only grants 460 ilvl, mythic grants 475 but these are not guaranteed.
Visions grant access to 470 ilvl rewards. These are accessible to all players regardless of content.
Corruption is actually what makes the item better, but if not it costs only 5 mementos to cleanse, that’s like…3 mobs in an assault vision or 1 in an actual vision.
Not sure if that is true, I’ve never seen any of my pre-120 characters receive a corrupted gear, and I’m pretty sure corruption can’t upgrade on quest rewards.
On a new 120 doing WQs? Sure. But not below doing questing.
To be honest most people don’t consider M+ or any content required to form a group outside of LFG tool to be considered casual content. So when referring to casual content I use the majority of GDs definition as above.
Your ilvl is 463. You are not in this picture. “Oh, but if I was a low ilvl player and I listed a +2, I would have no trouble filling it immediately.”
LOL. Your attitude is another part of the reason why so many players go out of their way to avoid the toxic cesspool of antisocials that mythic+ has become.
i mean at this point the 4 difficulty scale makes the powercreep RIDICULOUS because of how many tiers of ilvl we have to include each tier
they need to remove normal and make lfr a little more challenging with a slightly higher bar for entry
keep it queueable
Can you please explain? What stops you from joining normal raids? Do you not find any enjoyment in having an actual raid leader and a raid roster that is not a revolving door every boss and every wipe?
Sure. Mythic raid gear, +20 mythic dungeon, 2800 rating all available to 100% of players. You are totally out of touch.
I just don’t like the atmosphere of it all. I don’t like that the raid leader can replace you at the last minute because their GF wants to play. (Actually had this happen) What can I say, I like it better when the power of who is in the group and who isn’t in the group is not in the hands of a single individual
This isn’t a thing with flexible group sizes.
Oh? So you can go past the 25 cap? or what ever it is now days. Is 40 man raiding a thing again?
I think you are misinterpreting what I was saying.
Visions are solo content accessible to everyone, I was comparing those rewards accesaible to every player to the rewards which are restricted amd as you said “the best”.
So yes, rewards upto 5 ilvl lower than mythic raid content is available to every single player. That is the best that this game will ever offer you.
They already removed LFR. It gives rewards far below trivial solo content, there is absolutely no incentive to do it besides seeing the story.
Quest completion. which is required for allied race unlocks.
And yet you admit that this content requires coordination only achievable by an organized group.
This content is not designed, nor is it compatible with a single-player experience. Is just not. These are big ole gods that require 20 beings to kill. You weaken them enough so that any 20 Joe blows can kill them, and guess what? They’re not cool anymore
Where in that statement said anything about single player experience. What kind of strawman is that.
Normal and heroic scale to groups between 10-30 players.
So then, it’s no different. If we had a 30 man group, and leader wanted to squeeze his GF in. Someone would get the boot for the girl.
And that affects you how? I don’t see how LFR is a detriment to the game? Everyone pays subs, it’s only fair they get to see the expansion unfold.
Old gods being killed by 20 Ilvl 410s not being cool? Dude the second you enter the expansion as a 120, everyone calls you champion. It’s a story, Ilvl doesn’t have to play a part.
And it’s not like the LFR raid gives mythic level loot. Let people enjoy the cutscenes
