No they aren’t, some of them are going on in the lore. It makes no story sense. Teaming up to fight a dragon is completely different. Plus I thought the supposed point of this was to make it harder for premades, why are you talking about playing with blood elf friends?
This doesn’t fix queues either, that’s not how queues even work ffs. Queues intentionally stall in order to balance teams. And the win rate is fairly even for Alliance and Horde despite whiners existing since forever.
The ideas people upvote on this forum I swear. Yes lets remove the entire fantasy war aesthetic from bgs because you can’t be bothered just using merc mode. 
I used the term bros loosely, not talking about my specific friends or premading in particular lmao. I solo queue a lot of bgs and wouldn’t care either way if premades were eliminated or not.
Really don’t think people care about this nearly as much as you think they do.

The point was queue times and single faction domination
But as many people said, it is very time dependant. During day one faction wins much more, on evenings the other.

Oh please, there are RP clowns on Horde as well. Don’t go acting like it’s only Alliance. We might as well let the two embrace the cringe together.
Ok, what’s still going on in the lore? Please enlighten me.
An armistice was signed at the end of BfA and in a short story before Dragonflight (post Shadowlands), some alliance members and leaders attended a wedding with other Horde leaders for Thalyssra and Lor’Themar.
I’d say they’re at peace.
Merc mode is only available to one faction at a time, and I think at the moment Alliance has the merc NPC. I don’t want to become a balding human male by mercing.
Also, you can’t queue with opposite faction even if you are merced. If I have an Alliance friend and want to do a battleground with them, I can’t merc and do that. I’d have to be Alliance or somehow sync into them.

Every time this gets brought up, the people advocating for mixed faction BGs has a long list of valid reasons as to why it would be better for the health of the game. But the people who are against it only reason is “No because I don’t like it”

Cross-faction BGs could potentially solve (or at least improve) several issues.
- Queue times
- Premade vs. premade matchups
- Talent drain going to one faction due to racials

He’s talking about low level PvP and low level players missing gear slots I think, he’s constantly whining about it in every thread he can, even in threads that are clearly about max level.

As someone who loves the whole Alliance versus Horde thing, even I say yes it’s time. It will solve a number of issues, including queue times, lopsided roles (Alliance 60-69 have really been lacking healers when I queue lately), racial imbalances, “Alliance/Horde always wins/loses” posts, faction gear disparity (both factions will have the same queue times and therefor no bonus honor needed), it will make queue syncing harder.
The only real downside is it will water down the whole Alliance versus Horde roleplay, but it’s not like that has been a strong theme in quite awhile anyway and gameplay is more important.

NO I don’t mean transmog… I have actually seen clowns with 12 TWELVE i-lvl
join a BG…
- missing 50% of their gear (slots completely empty)
- wearing GREY non-stat gear (item level 2, with 1 armor & NO STATS)
seriously these clowns exist… then they grab a flag and get ONE shotted…
This is not a xfaction issue though. It’s a low lvl bg issue and low lvl questing issue, completely irrelevant to the discussion in this thread

I would not call it outdated, but Blizzard has given up on it by after letting horde fighting horde and alliance fighting alliance in arena and rated bg. They completely killed it with crossfaction queues.
No reason to not make it possible in random bg now.
Absolutely not. I feel disgusted every time blizzard forces the factions to work together. I want to sh1t all over everyone yard every time we have to do khadgar or brann bronzebeards bidding. Never.

That’s literally been the case going all the way back to sun well every single expansion so idk what to tell you they’ve already killed off all the faction extreme leaders on both sides.
