They would cut down queue times by a lot.

Yes, definitely time for cross faction BGs, the same way it is in Rated BGs.

Queueing up as Horde wont automatically assign you Horde, it’ll assign you to whatever team is available for a queue. Same vice versa.

Shorter queue times, harder time for premades to sync in their groups, and no more need to faction transfer (unless you wanted a specific racial).

When you said “Like rated bgs” I thought you meant you could have horde vs horde ally vs ally teams :slight_smile:

Yes, we are long overdue for cross faction BGs. Everything else has cross faction, so I’m fairly confident the tech is there. Maybe that’s what those patch notes about Battleground MMR were hinting at.

They could put an NPC near the battlemasters that anyone can talk to and choose “red” or “blue” team. We could see which team has more players and voluntarily select the other team for better queue times.

Lore wise it doesn’t make any sense at all, but that doesn’t really bother me.

No thanks. I’d rather it just be left to random and assign red or blue. I feel that would just defeat the purpose of cross faction queue if players can just choose like that.

No one cares about your RP. Queue times would be shorter and we wouldn’t have so many, “Alliance/Horde always loses!!1” threads.

You’re going to have factions complete removed from the game soon. You can already queue with the opposite faction or just go to the vendor guy and have him make you the opposite faction for faster queue times.
