The most grand barber shop that Azeroth has ever seen.
Thatâs where the Garbage Elves will live.
You can get your hair styled AND
It has snacks.
Just a massive Azerothian mall full of Sunbucks coffee shops, IHOPs, dollar stores and the like.
In all seriousness (and throwing my love of the Starbucks/Sunbucks Coffee joke out of a moving car), it would probably make sense for the ruined part of Silvermoon to be revealed to have been turned into a Sanotorum for the Withered and the Wretched of both the Sinâdorei and Shalâdorei whom could not be helped by the purification of the Sunwell and the creation of the Arcanâdor Tree.
A place of quiet healing, compassion and respite where the families of those ravaged by the inherent addiction to magic that almost all Elven people suffer can come and see their kin, spend time with them and try to give them some comfort. It would also be a rather interesting meeting of professions and ways of life, with all forms of alchemy, magical therapy and knowledge being brought together to try and either reverse or ease the hardship of the afflicted.
Might also be how Blizzard explains away Shalâdorei Druids and Paladins, and Sinâdorei Druids. We know the Arcanâdor Tree is very unstable and requires a very careful nurturing process to survive to adulthood without causing nearby entities to turn into Driders Spider-Elves, and the Sinâdorei got a rude shock when one Renâdorei got near the Sunwell and nearly caused an extinction-level event for their people. A place where the Sinâdorei and Shalâdorei can carefully try to re-create the miracle of the Arcanâdor Tree because the Alliance knows where their only surviving Tree is, and because they only have one tree.
Magical Super-Trees do not have a good time of it in WoW over the past few decades, and even then, the old World Trees all got nuked, or exploded, or Old Godâd in the worst possible ways. I think weâre running at at a 3-4 losses vs 1 win at this point. We need to double down on protecting these dang things.
OR!
player housing area
Hmm, hmmm, with flavor options like-
And more!
As a survivor of the great âRP is deadâ phase of WoD garrisons, and someone who has read eleventy billion âI canât find anyone for open RPâ forum posts, Iâm honestly of the opinion we need less individually phased areas where people can park their characters.
Heres to hoping tonights event helps the upward trend!
Honestly most of the reasons people would use a player house for RP involve concepts that are already designed to be more private.
If people are seeking walk ups theyâll still go to the usual hubs.
If people are having private one on one conversations, guild events or ERP, theyâre usually the sort of things you donât want randos blundering into anyway.
I also survived WoD and once the initial novelty wears off I doubt player housing will significantly impact the RP community.
Anyone who thinks player housing will reduce RP might not be taking into consideration the sheer amount of people who would resub or try out WoW altogether for that feature.
It is the traditional Kaldorei-Sinâdorei greeting.
Iâll admit former players may dip their toes back in to try it out, but I donât think people are picking up a box (or whatever the modern day digital version of that figure of speech is) of a relatively outdated MMO just because thereâs player housing. That seems like a stretch.
If they revealed player housing now, I would instantly be suspicious. Because thereâs no way they wonât take a good thing and just Blizz all over it.
Exactly why I go back and forth on wanting a true Gnomish capital city.
Blizz has a long documented history of making a mess of things that should be an easy win. I want a Gnome city, but I donât trust Blizz to do it correctly.
Neognomeragon, a Dalaran-esque flying city courtesy of science rather than magic.
Literally make it a 1:1 for the Dalaran layout but have it shrink all non-Gnomes and -Goblins down to Gnomish size, have the sewers be the engine room, have the âHordeâ side be a hydroponics wing to grow food for the inhabitants, letâs a go.
Now imagine buying Player Housing decorations and styles but crammed into the Trading Post.
Would you still be excited?
An island Gnome capital with trams leading to Gnomeregan and Mechagon would be mad cool
My 2 cents on Gnome Kingdom:
Pictures of Valley behind Gnomer. Honestly, Iâve said this at least 4 times in the past week alone but the amount of easy wins Blizz could get that they have instead fumbled or bunked up altogether, is endless.
THE VALLEY IS RIGHT THERE BEHIND THE MOUNTAIN. YOU COULD BUILD A SKY TRAM TO IRON FORGE.

Wait a wee bit moment. Didnât the Gnomes create an environment that resulted in a catastrophic meltdown of their original capital? Why, trusting them with another capital is like, well, trusting the horde with chairs.
