Is Horde RP making a comeback?

There’s like two or three guys walking around on MG-A in the afternoons with TRP profiles that are attempting to get people to come to WrA’s SMC lol

Wouldn’t it be funny if, just as a joke, all of us race changed belf and chilled in SMC

Logged on around 4:45pm server time yesterday for our event and there were quite a few characters in Silvermoon! This is very encouraging!

Ha ha, yeah, it would be really funny if we all, like, became pretty elves with gorgeous, silky hair and crystalline clear eyes. God, can you even imagine.

I rolled a BE not too long ago, because I’d never actually done so. I enjoyed the storyline in this game for the first time in a long time and realized what a pretty rich history there is.

That said, playing a BE is just not really my style. The only ‘race’ on Horde I’ve ever really been into was Forsaken, so I have a few of those as alts.

Silvermoon is the new Duskwood.

I would post that gif of Jack Nicholson nodding here, but Blizzard’s forum rules don’t let me post gifs, so you’ll just have to use your imagination :pensive:

Honestly even at weird Aussie hours, I just saw a bunch of people in SMC. Dunno what happened but keep it up, WRA  Super happy to see the city return to life.

I’m pretty sure moody people pessimistically say it’s dead all the time, so I think not. :smirk:

I miss the glory days of SMC raids. Good times. Great fights, even if we couldn’t keep up with the number of Horde.

Too bad Sakima doesn’t play anymore. He practically lived there.

Right before Shadowlands began, I would pop Elixirs of Tongues and hang out in SMC, fully-flagged as an Alliance, to RP with whoever wanted to.

Surprisingly, I got way more bites than PvP attacks.

I experimented some weeks ago with an Alliance character in SMC and there are surprisingly many “neutral” spots to linger in without spawning guards. The issue is getting inside these places, because each entrance basically has a guard spawn trip wire. I also did this with no idea SMC roleplay would be returning in gusto literally two weeks later.

That said, I’ve found it better to bring a Horde character, instead. Less disruption and hassle for everyone, and also more Lore-friendly. But as far as cross-faction fren visits go, SMC is easier than others – you know, except the whole “no flying” thing.

I got busy and distracted, but it might be time to host a Wayfarer’s Rest tavern night!

Hell yeah, I’m in. Some of my best walk-up RP in SMC so far has been there and the Murder Row basement hookah lounge (does that place have a name?).

What’s not lore-friendly about hanging out with Blood Elves and playfully mussing their hair and putting them in headlocks?

Wait! Is that really a thing? It sounds like fun!

Alliance propaganda. But being undead and hanging out with fellow undead will never be cool. Let the shadows guide you… :skull:

I’ve also noticed an increase in population size in Silvermoon City. It’s refreshing and nice to see other than the same old dust bowl that is the Valley of Honor. I was about to rip my hair out if I had to hangout there for another hour. With WoW Midnight releasing and the hopeful revamp of Quel’Thalas (and flying included please lord), we should be in store for a big Horde RP surge. I just rerolled my old character from Moon Guard years ago. Catch me in SMC sometime! His name is Rothanas Dawnlight. (Ex Sunguard and Dominion of the Sun).
