I’ve been on Moon Guard full time since just before MOP. I’ve never seen public, out-loud ERP of any kind, even when moving through Goldshire which is an inn that is wall to wall solid silent people just standing around.
Sounds like you don’t hang out in Goldshire for ERP. You are just “passing through.”
I spent 15 years there, averaging 8-12 hours per day. I’ve seen a lot of public ERP.
I didn’t stop ERPing in WoW until a couple of years ago when I met my girlfriend.
Either way, no citation is needed. Roll an Alliance alt on Moon Guard. Spend a day in Goldshire’s Inn without leaving (don’t be in Chromie time or the inn will be empty).
I guarantee you’ll see at least two public ERP scenes play out.
This reminded me of a parody song by Sharm called Night Elf ERP.
The only ERP I ever did was with my real life boyfriend, we would go into Goldshire then whisper eachother on our real ID

I’ve “only” been on Moon Guard for about ten years, but every time I’ve run through the inn in Goldshire for the one or two quests that send you there like Hallow’s End candy buckets I haven’t heard a single objectionable thing.
It’s a whole different world with a RP addon, of course, but I’ve never managed to see an out-loud ERP thing in all the time I’ve been on the server, spending most of my time in Stormwind.

It’s certainly not the norm if you thought that’s what I was implying, and you’ll rarely see public ERP outside Goldshire or Silvermoon City. But I have encountered it on both MG and WrA. In the two aforementioned locations of MG, I see them with sufficient frequency to suspect they happen once or twice a day on average.
The vast majority of people keep their ERP to whispers, party chat, private channels, or /guild (in the case of ERP guilds), but there are a handful of unruly exhibitionists out there and they know which server is friendliest to them.
and its sadly declining rapidly in quality, blizz does not care one bit for anything that happens in goldshire unless it goes against their agendas/standards, you can sit on an alt for hours an report names that are blatantly against their non enforced rp name policy, or report peoples rp profiles that are definitely against tos and blizz doesnt move an inch to care to ban them.

You must have all chat channels muted then, cause it happens all the time. Usually by lvl 1’s spouting all sorts of seemingly actionable comments out loud or in general. But not always.

most ppl who do ERP don’t do it in public channels. if they did, they would definitely get some sort of action on their account. but when two people are doing this in whispers and neither one reports the other, blizzard is not going to take any action.
That isn’t ERP, though. That’s just people being reportable tools in chat, whole different deal.

just erp wherever the only people trying to ban you for it are on the forums and i do it everywhere. some of you need to read cause i didn’t say i was banning it was all the posts saying report someone unless private silly.

ERP is not only tolerated, its protected. the only time i have ever been banned in game was when i was dragged kazzak to the goldshire inn on moonguard to wipe the horny weirdos.

nope. me and my guild used to do this all the time on our pvp server, pulling kazzak to stormwind, but on moonguard we took it to the inn because it was on the way - and full of people anyways. only server we got banned for it on was moonguard lol. salty erpers.
I ain’t too sure where you’re hanging out ats: I have a Moon Guard characters and while I mostly stick to Stormwind for RP stuffs, I ain’t seen anyone doing any explicits stuff publicly.
If you dos see that kinda stuff, that’s grounds enough for a report ands you should do so. Like I saids, don’t think there’s anythings wrong with overly lewd things but ya best keep that privates.
