Apparently these two players had met before (in an erp setting) and had randomly came across each other in my battleground, One called the other Big daddy or something…
From what I have seen playing on the Moonguard Server for 3 years, most of the ERP is recommended to be in private and contained. if say someone or group of people go out of thier way to purposefully try to do ERP in public settings or group RP events (like the Monday Markets, Tournament of Ages, or World’s Fair Carnival, etc) then we assume they are automatically trolling and throw the banhammer, blacklist, and report on them for Disrupting RP Events.
As long as it’s not public 'cause I’ve seen some pretty graphic ERP, that I’m just not interested in seeing, not even in my private chats. I perform “Disney-fied” ERP 
But, I still keep that stuff private and away from the general populace. I have my standards.

As someones who may has indulged in said actities on here, FF14 ands beyond, rules are pretty simples:
~Both parties are of age (Of course no ways to prove this withouts askin’ for things like ID which is way too far in my opinions so I sticks with confirmin’ over text)
~Both parties give consent
~It’s done privately, not pollutin’ public RP/tradin’ areas
~Personal rules, but any ERPs has to be tied to character and storylines. AKA has some sorta point outside of doin’ it just to…do its
‘Long as ya doing alls that and you ain’t hurtin’ anyone, I don’ts think anyones is gonna bat an eye on ya lewd activities. “Lewd responsibly”, I always says!
I hasn’t been poked by eithers Square Enix or Blizzard as of yets so I assume these rules are workin’.

Doing it in /say or public channels can get you silenced, or even banned if you keep it up.
Privately its nbd. Its just something some roleplayers like to do

Oh, all of my RP is private and in party chats. I much prefer “smaller” RP groups to create more interpersonal RP stories.
Moon Guard won’t even report people for doing non-con ERP in public. It’s absolutely against the rules to do that in /emote, but people regularly do it on MG and I’ve never once heard of it being reported there, let alone actioned. I like to think of MG as WoW’s version of Detroit’s “No-Go Zone.”
If you are on one of the “big 2”, you are highly buffered.
You do bring up the issue if things will change. Right now, as I understand it, the number of unique reports matter, and it won’t even tic up to a person until an unknown threshold is passed.
Moving forward however, that sort of behavior may no longer fall under the “server culture” guideline. I feel confident that type of RP would be shut down on WrA. If so, perhaps we can finally purge names such as “leatherfootstool” from the ranks once more. lol

yes its not allowed, its basically accepted however that arget dawn eu goldshire and moonguard goldshire inns are bascially brothals at this point and its best to avoid them if you hate erp.
As a general rule, anything that goes on or is said/done in private chats/channels is totally safe. So if you are ERPing 1v1 with someone, no matter how explicit it gets, you’re fine unless someone reports it.
So in that sense it is “tolerated”…but you’re definitely gonna find yourself with a fast track ticket to bannedsville if you start openly getting X rated in public chat channels.
