The only reason certain posters post are for moments like these. (To put others down, and to feel good about themselves.)
Not entirely sure how Blizzard has actually allowed such unruly behavior to continue, but I guess it’s a highlight of the state that they are in.

Bro, i’m not projecting on anyone. I could care less tbh. But i’m subbed to a bunch of R1s on twitch and they all say the same thing. Gladiator needs to go back to being % based. Again, I could care less. If you have a problem with that statement then take it up with them.

I’ll counter this (since I don’t watch twitch) with Xar and sterge both saying in recent vids that the caliber of player today even compared to as recently as legion is far, far better. So, take that for what you will. Again, not everyone played back in the other days in the same way, or at all. You act like bfa glads tried earlier and just couldn’t when that likely isn’t the case.
Of course, I think that’s a shared sentiment. Though since I only play one toon usually, that would suck to have to park it at a rating instead of hitting a goal and then just playing how I want. Give and take.
I’m not actually man. In fact it’s the exact opposite, which I thought would be apparent based on what I said. Oddly, you’re the one I thought had the “specific” viewpoint since you came out and said
Kind of insinuates that the mere fact that they lost means they’re not good since you said that in response to simply “glads are good.” See my point?

If you analyze/read over most of the post histories it’s glaringly apparent that the “emotion factor” plays a part in the decisions made. (I believe that this is the reason I am ignored; as my responses to trolling and posters trying to cause unrest are generally “unfun” and take away from the overall purpose of these sorts of posts. (To feel gud.)
So all the offers to help, the duplicate and potentially “triggering” posts are all created for self-entertainment only. (And it’s kind of cool that in some cases, some actually good discussions come out of the threads, though this generally never involves certain posters even if they created the posts lol.)
Let’s hope that soon, they factor context into their forum moderation as it would really help weed out the nonsense and create, respectful debates/interactions.

I won’t even bash you here because I respect yer honest, however I think parroting is lame you shouldn’t listen to what these R1s say and just make yer own honest opinion based on yer own experience
Why not… Alliance unholy DK here looking for partners to grind Glad next season. Let’s prove it can be done even with the most casual players!

And here we have it, a case law summary of the root cause of these types of posts. There is no substance to it, doesn’t do anything except bring attention to the poster and then randomly insult someone else that they “don’t get along with” for no objective reason.
What some folks will do to “feel gud” is sometimes pretty sad, but then again there might be more to it. (And it’s obviously going untreated.)

i mean if i do happen to get glad this season bc im 2525 rn and i dont get 2.7 im not gonna q anymore lol no point imo unless ur pushing for r1 and ik ill never have r1
I don’t blame you. I have the most fun just playing with friends and/or helping people get ratings they’ve never had.
I’ve completed three full glad pushes for people and helped a few more with a small string of games (~10) this season. I hover from 24-26 pretty routinely. I never had an alt prior to like a month ago and I only made it so I could play with two types of people, mainly at two different brackets.
Personally, I’d love to snag 2.7 because it’s within reach 100%. But I’ve never played with the same people for more than one season. Always just whomever I find. I can blame my work schedule for that but I just don’t play enough. Not that it couldn’t be done in a few days but I guess I just haven’t found people that want to.
Just my own story but I’m sure it’s the same for many.

Yeah, I work a J shift so, alternating days and nights. 12 hr shifts and I take a lot of OT. I also don’t play during the day time while my family is home/awake because I find that rude so, I wait until they sleep. So pretty much only late at night into the early morning on my days off because on work days I literally have time to work, gym, and sleep lol.
