Blizz employees should be very careful about using their in-game powers to help their acquaintances.
I don’t mind them fast tracking punishment if it’s valid though.
It’s not impossible to stop. You just have to be quick about using CC on them. Can’t dispel when silenced, for example.

There is a very fine line between griefing and PVP.
As in reality, anything thag would be said as “Griefing” is in fact PVP, the 2 kind of go to together.
Let’s look at the definition:
Griefing is the act of chronically causing consternation to other members of an online community, or more specifically, intentionally disrupting the immersion of another player in their gameplay.
Another words all PVP is Griefing and no one should be banned for it. If you dont want to PVP then dont play on a PVP server. If someone is griefing you on a PVE realm, there is also easy recourse to stop it, by ignoring ect. If they find a way around that, at thag point Blizz should step in. However what has happened here has a PVP answer, so Blizzes involvement in this clear case of Emergent Game play and PVP is absurd.
There is simple ways to avoid being griefed not playing on a PVP server is a big one.

Because they want a pve experience on a pvp server. Of course, when they spend hours ganking lowbies over and over and over that’s fine. But dispel my buffs…ban him!!!

Then walk up to the raid without DM buffs or a Songflower and watch a priest waste his time dispelling nothing and then continue to steam roll easy raids with only ZG/Ony buffs.
Or play on a PvE server.

You need to do a complete internal investigation of all of your GMs because they have been out-of-control for years to the point of killing Heroes of the Storm.
Yes, my Heroes of the Storm account is banned for life for saying things like “That was a stupid hero pick because they already counter him”.

Yep.
That’s not how it works. I already see their corpse sitting there. I know what class they are by the armor they’re wearing (and their name, usually). I know they’re there before my main even gets there because I have scouting alts, or my guild tells me in advance. There’s usually no other enemies in the area (in which case just spamming an ability will cast it on the nearest enemy if one exists), and I’m only in that area for a few seconds before zoning into the raid. Oh, and I can stealth/invis pot, anyway, so good luck targeting me.
Yes, I can get into a raid without being dispelled quite easily because I care about getting into raid with my buffs.
I never complained about getting my buffs wiped? I also really enjoy PvP? While this is 100% griefing, I think its kind of funny? I responded to a person from my server asking whether or not a lot of this was bannable. I get 2 turds argumentative responses.
As usually the people in these threads suck at both reading and communicating. Get a life ya angry nerds.

It’s kind of absurd to try to shrug off WBuff dispelling as just PvP.
WBuff dispelling isn’t something you can counter against very well. You can kill them, camp them, spit on them, etc and it doesn’t matter because from the moment they dispelled you they already won. They don’t care if they’ve fed you some honor or if they have a corpse run, they willingly rez in the midst of the opposite faction full well knowing they will die again. Their sole objective is to dispel, die, and repeat and there is virtually no counter to it.
This whole discussion centers around if Blizzard should leave it alone because it’s Vanilla or if they should change stuff that has become a problem, but pretending it’s just PvP on a PvP server is pretty ridiculous.
How is world buff dispelling a problem? They are not required to clear any raids.
