Honestly how does this impact any of you at all? Blizzard created a problem with transfers which ultimately splintered many guilds and friends. This is a way for people to still be connected with them. I was able to group with folks while Blizzard sorted out the transfer mess. How is this bad?

I was able to test that you’re able to enter the same dungeon as the player from a different server. This will probably be used by CHINESE boosters who level on PvE servers giving dungeon XP for PvP players.
Because servers in classic ERA are meant to be separate.

Holy crap… I legit just tried it and it works. Made a toon on Herod and grouped up with a friend on Kromcrush. How does this not get flagged? This is insane.
Being able to group with a friend who chose a different server, how terrible. Look, I get the whole “oh it wasn’t in BC” argument. But being able to play with friends should never be a bad thing.

yep, we’re in the same instance
So far it seems buggy as hell. Flight master kicked me in front of the first gate because we weren’t on the same realm, can’t see each other outside of the dungeon
Can only trade conjured items - which is the same as retail cross realm afaik
It doesn’t even matter if they are on a different battle group [West/East coast servers].
So I’d say that this is the sign of the end. They are slowly turning this into retail. Look at it. We got gate spam, pay for mounts, boosts, and they are slowly and quietly merging all the servers together into a layered retail esque way. It’s over man.
