Yes in a fraction of the time afk’ing for fast losses. It takes more effort to earn in the old version, more in line with vanilla’s general effort:reward ratio.
What are you even talking about? I’m saying I don’t want the version that encourages this behavior. If you want a game that rewards you for afking, play retail.
Yes those people are going to exist, but old AV doesn’t perpetuate their non-playstyle by design.
If you were trying to understand you wouldn’t be making me repeat myself for the fifth time. I told you, no content in the game exists in multiple versions, they pick a version that suits classic, and my point is that 1.12 AV does not suit classic because it actively promotes afk’ing for gear and removes AV’s identity and appeal. Now either stop retreading old ground or stop replying.
Yes and my point is they picked 1.12 for everything, not a franken version.
Offering multiple versions of AV would be a huge compromise on blizzard’s part. But it would offer more people a way to enjoy something in classic as such I’m wondering why you hate the idea so much. You get your verison of AV you enjoy, others get theirs. Literally noone loses.
And i completely disagree that 1.12 promotes afking and lose fast mentality, that did not happen until reinforcements were released.
Except for content. And loot tables. And AV is content.
Multiple people have explained this. Easy loot is contrary to the classic experience. Loot grinders should not just be able to avoid non-loot grinders, they should have to earn their loot against them, in the same BGs, because that’s how it was in vanilla. I already made the point about everyone playing the same BGs regardless of personal objectives.
Multiple versions of content are wholly anti-classic, so the only argument is which version is better suited for it.
