Was the mole machine that took you to the grim guzzler there in vanilla? I wanna say it was toward the end but I don’t remember.
I have not done mace spec before. It’s an experiment for me.
they don’t. RNG stuns are on different timers.
“LFM BRD emp run ironfoe on res. come to IF bridge for inspection”
It sounds like you’re one of those people who didn’t min/max vanilla and didn’t accomplish much. Well just because you didn’t, doesn’t mean that everyone didn’t. Almost everyone I knew, in high end raiding guilds, all min/maxed and theorycrafted…
Hell, even putting a progression raid together was a FINE ART back then and it centered around min/maxing.
That was part of brewfest and brewfest wasn’t added til TBC.
Added as part of the Brewfest in TBC, I believe.
You don’t need to min/max to accomplish anything, as long as you have the appropriate gear you could cheese your group role and nobody would be the wiser.
If you decide to do any raids with a min/max’d 40 man group I think you’re gonna find the content not worthy of the effort.
Good luck in naxx… There’s a reason why <1% of us cleared it during vanilla.
I’m quacking in my boots.
“Stop playing the game that way! I don’t like it when you play the game that way!”
Yeah.
TBC came out.
Right! Why bang your head against a wall trying to learn the mechanics of a fight that few people even geared for in the first place when lvl 60 greens were as good if not better and were available in 6 months.
Nice. Exactly what I’m not saying. Good job.
Then why did it take months for the top guilds in the world to clear it? The guild I was in was usually right behind Fury (they had tons of world firsts) and it took us quite a while to get 4hm down.
World first 4hm was SEVEN weeks after the zone came out and they didn’t even have to nerf/tweak the fight… Granted, yeah, a lot of modern players are pretty used to hectic movement fights now, but the fight is still a serious gear check and it’s super long. I want to say it took us ~20 minutes to kill them when we finally got them down and that was about average for a kill…
Level 60 greens weren’t as good as Naxx gear.
Naxx gear was budgeted around the same as 68 Blues but Naxx gear had strong bonuses for some classes.
No, it’s exactly what you’re saying.
“Stop playing that way.”
“Play this way.”

Ikeyen’s Boots are from a quest available at level 60, have 9 less spell damage, 1 more crit rating, 7 less int, the same spirit, and no stam. They’re very very close. Yes you give up the set bonus, assuming you even got enough pieces for a set bonus in the 6 months that naxx was available.
No, it’s exactly what I’m not. My God, how stupid do you have to be to misinterpret a message to be the opposite of what it actually means?
Okay but the claim was:
