I have friends who love mythic+ as their favorite thing to do so they’re all being vampire boys but if they think I’m taking their RC cola mage talent just for that, pssshh.

When you have the max ilvl gear from all of the dungeons the only thing left is to push keys. If were not going to time a key we usually stop the group and do the lower level key or go to the next key.
If all your doing is 10s then sure knock yourself out. This isnt a problem for you.

I thought it was funny how he said the choice of class is a major choice because it can’t be changed then later said people won’t exclude people on choices that can’t be changed.

I am replying to the title of the thread. People of the course of wow have been declined for various different reasons. No matter what change blizz makes people in pugs will still be declined based on your convent, class, talents and onward choices. It is up to the group leader on how they build their group, not the person that joins it.
That’s why you don’t pug.

If a mirror were there for a reflection of a person abilities for a game he surely isn’t looking or he covered the mirror to deny himself the truth.
People have been complaining about the social aspect of the game for years. Now i your chance. Make your own group and you will never be declined. Show some damn initiative.
I am going to tell you how I make my own group.
I am a shadow priest and I won’t get invited into high keys 90% of the time, no matter what score I have.
So now I start my own group and who do you think I am going to invite to time a 20+key ? A ret paladin ? An affliction warlock or a feral druid ? None of this, I don’t need 2nd wheel chair… I am one already.
So I will look for DH since they are hard to kill, have good aoe and ranged interrupt, or I may pick a rogue for same things. If I have dh and a warrior signed I will never pick warrior over DH. I will never pick a guardian druid over a protection warrior because I know how good prot warrior is,same goes for healer, if I have druid and shaman healer listed I will never pick shaman over druid because I know the tools druid have and I know what shaman can’t do dmg and heal at the same time like druid can or paladin or monk. By simply knowing classes I already decline 70% of the players because how unbalances classes are, now add here another layer of covenants, conduits and soulbinds.
At the start it will affect small amount of people and within 2-3 months it will only go worse since blizzard will do their famous balancing.

Right, it’s not a problem for the people that aren’t doing Bragging Rights keys. All the content is still doable.
It’s a problem for anyone who wants to use all the cool spells they are adding regardless of level. They are adding some seriously cool stuff and I want to be able to use them.
You can. Changing your Covenant is a thing you can do.
Ion had also mentioned in his interview with Preach they’re looking at a way to be able to experiment with other Covenant stuff without fully committing to the swap. That way you wouldn’t get stuck in or out of something you want to keep in order to try something else.
Ion has his opinions because he has played with the same people for 10+ years. Most people have not done that. He has never had to pug. He never even did a 5 mask vision. He is used to playing with low standards but that not mattering because he only plays with his close, long time friends. He couldn’t understand why someone would be declined from a group because he only plays with one group.

If I could borrow them for a few hours and go do some keys then it might be OK. They were talking about a training grounds type thing though which hardly counts. I just want to. Push cool spells while hanging out with my friends. Like I have been able to do slat any point in the last 15 years this game has existed.
LFM 1 tank, 1 healer, 2 dps, night fae and kyrian will be autodecline, dont apply if you arent venthyr or necrolord.

Yeah with the nature of M+ keys getting reduced in level for failure - people are going to always go with the optimal comp when you get pretty high.
