Only if the ‘dedicated world pvper’ had a bunch of ‘world buffs’ essentially, meaning carried by items/gear not PvP.
Welcome to world pvp. You either come prepared…or you don’t.
Welcome to World exploits and ganks, yes. Not sure I’d call it PvP to be honest.
So don’t do it? lol
I had forgotten how cringey wpvp players are. BFA necks, stacking buffs, leeching npcs. Lmao
So remove the PvE buffs from it? lol If they removed the XP+Talents+extra gear+mats it would be nice, then only people that want it would be in it.
World pvp is obviously not your thing and that’s fine.
You forget that at the end of the day, this is an MMORPG that incorporates much more than just PvP. Even if you only plan to play the game for PvP, right off the bat, you realize it’s not your typical PvP experience. You create a character and level it from 1, getting stronger as you level up. You obtain gear and realize there are different tiers of gear as well as differing stats on each piece of gear. You’re also introduced to the concept of items as you quest and level up, through potions and other consumables that are rewarded to you or that you found off a random NPC you killed.
It’s clear from the very beginning, even to a new player, that this isn’t your typical PvP game like LoL or CoD, you can use items and you gain the advantage over others if you have better gear, are a higher level, and if you used an item they didn’t have. Stop trying to turn the game into something it isn’t and never will be, nor should be.
Oh it’s Alphon the master of glitches aka exploiting. Great guy to play with not so much against him.
Except for the fact everything I was doing was just honest buff stacking, no glitches or exploits even going on.
I offered the OP a chance to play with me and see what exactly I’m doing, even as far as to gear a Horde character for them and be as transparent as I can.
Anyway, how’s it going Geekin? You doing good these days?
As somebody who is leveling this alt specifically for WPVP I learned a ton from this thread.
- Get gear
- Get buffs
- Have fun
- Take L’s with dignity and grace
Sometimes i wish i still played so i could camp these SnowFlakes who cry all day, keep doing Gods work mate
Lord Slaain
world pvp is the best pvp in this game. its why i started playing mmo’s. unfortunetly more do sandbox pvp. warmode was one of the worst ideas ever made for the game.
I’ve sent you some mail <3
Received, and I sent a friend request!
So basically there are people out there that go through all the trouble of getting every single obtainable buff just to grief levelers and under-geared players.
The majority of geared players 90% of the time in town waiting for queue pops or head straight to the raid/dungeon.
war happened in war mode again
I don’t really grief levelers, I tend to leave levelers alone unless they attack me themselves. (in which case, they just asked for it!)
I like to go after those in a group actually, it feels much more satisfying killing a group of players solo than it does killing a single individual, unless it’s someone I know and have beef with lol.
That sounds extremely boring. You’re telling me that the limited amount of time I have to play World of Warcraft should be spent waiting in Valdrakken, afk, for a queue pop?
I’m good. I don’t find pillar humping in arena or random battlegrounds where I’ll likely face a premade group much fun. In WPvP I can control what I want to do and how I want to spend my time.
Due to the opt in nature of War Mode, no one is griefing them except themselves, if they expect PvP to not happen to them.
I play in War Mode. I don’t expect adventures in the world to be safe from PvP. Even while leveling.
The reward from playing in War Mode, has a risk attached.
That’s my thought process, the 10% increase isn’t worth it to you if you’re gonna cry about dying to someone in a mode you chose to be in.
I do refrain from hitting people leveling.
But anyone 70 is on sight, if I lose I rez, /salute and carry on.
Most of the crying in the thread is from buffs we can all get and someone using the word “technically speaking” to try and strengthen their argument because they knew they weren’t right about calling it an “unfair advantage” and comparing buffs we can all legally get without bans to roids in body building
