It’s perfect the way it is. There’s hundreds of mounts that you can just go get. Leave Invincible alone.

Is there a way to see how many attempts it took to get “X” mount?
Ive been using rarity for a few years, but farmed for mounts for way longer.
For all of this, there will be that one guy that doesn’t even know Invincible exists and will walk in there and get it first time…random hey.
Not long ago I looted my second Invincible. I put it in my bank, I didn’t have the heart to delete it.
I always wondered if another would/could drop if you already had it. I’m not flexing I feel bad for those who have truly done the grind and not gotten it.

Imo, for these legacy mounts, they should do what FF14 does, each kill gives you a totem/currency and you can eventually buy the mount for 100 or so of them.
I mean 100 kills on the Lich King, statistically you should’ve seen it already. Sucks when things go differently, but that’s why we’ve got bad luck protection stuff.
I love chasing rare mounts, just got the Zenet Egg, but I’m not immune to burnout either. I have some extra Horridons and stuff like that, and I haven’t the heart to delete them, because it’s rare for somebody out there. Maybe I hope I can trade them someday.
Sometimes, things just aren’t meant to be. It’s a video game though, so I’d definitely lean to being more lenient with that kinda stuff, to keep players around. Games are supposed to be fun, and cosmetics still fall under that.
I have invincible and ashes but i dont have that blue proto drake of skadis or onixia drake for the drake achieve, its just how it is, keep trying and eventually you will get it.
When I was reading your post I was amazed by few things. Amount of effort you put to find all this, and state of your brain, since no one normal would do this investigation just because some stranger said something in a gaming forum.

ROFL clicking on an Armory and finding 7 out of 10 of the characters in the same guild with the same name is an “investigation.” Sure.
The fact that you think me pointing out facts “says something” and not this person that was being less than truthful reveals a lot more about you than me. Also, every single person that either called me a stalker or implied I am one does not have Invincible, including you. I get why you’re really unhappy with my post. 
.77% droprate is a lot different than 0.000001% and getting lower each week. At that point something is drastically wrong.

Random Number Generator is Random. If I flipped a coin 2600 times, I will have different results than if you flip a coin 2600 times. I could get 50/50. You could get 80/20.
There isn’t something that says “ok he’s done it 1000 times we should drop it now” when you kill it one time there is a .77% chance it will drop.
Then maybe there should be.
This would be nice when there is 2 or so xpacs between when that content was current and today.
