I like the token idea someone else mentioned
‘I can’t make offensive jokes anymore waaaah.’
That’s what that sounds like.
FF14 has the token thing, basically if the mount doesn’t drop in the 99 runs you tried for it, and you got your token each time, you can spend the 99 tokens on that mount.
Lol see. Can’t even draw a line between offensive and just normal. Kids these days
I dunno, the kids these days are our future and we’ve handed them a pretty bad plate
you know
given how much your generation sucked up.
Unless you’re like my age in which case that’s just SAD.
Gonna tell 'em to get off your lawn and to turn down that rock music?
JHC I’m probably older than you but at least I don’t sound like it
When you consider a 0.77% drop rate against 2600 runs (if that’s even true) I would be taking bets someone has seen the mount drop by then. Nothing magically happens to guarantee the drop, but you have to be insanely unlucky at that point.
Given that with a 0.77% drop chance if you run it 130 times you should, theoretically, see a mount by then. But what is the actual probability of it not dropping? It’s still 36.6%. Even at 200 runs you still have a 21.3% probability of it not dropping.
Conversely 2600 runs and never seeing the mount has a 0.000000186% chance of happening.
Then again I am sus the OP actually ran it 2600 times, but that’s a different matter.
You COULD be insanely unlucky, that is the whole point, is the flaw in this sytem is someone with the worlds worst luck will die of old age before ever getting the thing to drop, and that’s what needs to be fixed, is that it SHOULD drop at some point, especially after 1000+ runs.
There’s zero proof the OP has more than 200 runs.
You don’t need proof though to know that the way it is currently coded is still flawed. Again I’ve known people who farmed the mount 12+ years and died IRL before it ever dropped for them.
What’s flawed about a 0.5 to 1% drop rate mount? It’s cosmetic and you don’t need it for anything.
the fact that after 12 years or 2600 runs it still hasn’t dropped, that is the flaw.
I don’t disagree that it’s a bad system, but I also doubt anyone exists who have ran it 2600 times without it.
I have no problems if Blizzard wanted to put in a token system for this stuff. Complete pure lotto garbage isn’t good game design.
And we’re back to the OP has no proof they killed H LK that many times.
I fished the open waters of BFA for roughly 11,000 Casts with no Sea Turtle or Manta ray drop.
I’ve fished the open water, roughly 8000 times since DF launch, I’ve yet to see this infamous “Aged Draconic Bottle”.
Maybe RNG is RNG and we’re not meant to be handed things?
Js.
So then go by the guy I knew, my old alliance guild leader. 12 years of religious farming and he died before he ever saw it drop.
That’s not proof either.
Google ‘standard deviation.’
You’re just disregarding all the proof handed to you so you can hold onto your own ideas of how things work then, idk what to tell you anymore.
What proof is that?
Just pull up your old guild lead’s Armory and take a picture of his H LK kills and post it. You don’t even have to show his name to do that.
