It took me several expansions and probably about 80 runs to get that mount. I am thankful that, at the time, it still award decent gold. I can’t remember when I finally got it but it was an amazing feeling.
how odd - they don’t teach how blizzard programs their game in school - what a bad education system.
Your arguments really make very little sense, you might think they sound smart but they aren’t.
My comfort level is fine.
No I explained several times why I don’t believe them.
2600 kills for Invincible is improbable. The drop chance is no where near that low. People racked up that many kills on the four MoP world bosses, not H LK.
They said they killed H LK on 10 toons. I found 7 toons with H LK kills. So unless they weren’t being truthful about that too then I found their characters. When I called them out on that, they never denied that wasn’t the 7 of 10 toons they were using, they said “oh well I deleted the characters I had a bunch of kills on.”
No it’s fine for me to look because there’s no application process on the Armory that says “are you recruiting for a guild or checking to see if someone is being truthful?”

You remind me of people that use the wrong words in normal conversations. For example, they’ll say “when I heard that story, I literally died” or “I have to make post-its all the time. lol my OCD is so bad.”
Also, I must be the world’s worst stalker. I didn’t make a character on their server to talk to them. I haven’t spoken to them on the forums in a couple of days. Matter of fact, I don’t even give them a second thought until I get a ping on this thread that someone replied to me because I unfollowed it.
p.s. Just because it seems to make these people mad, I opened up the Armory of everyone that was calling me a stalker and/or bully to see if they even have Invincible. None of them do, except Marla because they’re on a Classic alt, so their anger makes perfect sense now
Not to rub salt in this wound but ?, i have the icc mount, blue proto drake, death charger, ashes of ala’r, and a few other hard to get mounts in this game. and yet…some mounts to this day will not drop for me to save my life !..lol. icc mount drop rate is fine, it’s a rng OP !. you roll the dice every time you run icc…will it drop ?..sure !..when on the other hand is a different story.
Ok so what still got a point like even 100 runs is too many especially on such an old, ugly and irrelevant mount that’s only really good for mount collecting achievements at this point
If it’s an old, ugly and irrelevant mount then don’t bother with it.
Did you even read the whole thing? Or are you just late to your specsavers appointment.
You said Invincible is an old, ugly and irrelevant mount. I said don’t bother with it then.
What else do you want??
That is just not how averages work. There are sometimes long tails to them.
People have been farming Invincible, often on all possible toons, far longer than that. There are several expansions earlier than “two weeks before legion.”
At a quick glance it looks like you are adding up your % drop chances with each kill to get your expected number. I believe that the correct way is .77% chance on each character each week. In other words, your chance of the drop effectively resets each week just like the raid, it is not cumulative. You could get it on your first try ever or keep going at it and never get the mount. That is what makes rare drops rare.
EDIT: Something else, and it might not make you feel good. It looks like Invincible only drops on 25 man heroic ICC. It looks like your first time knocking that out was 03/26/19. Legion was released on 8/30/16 which makes about 136 weeks of transmog farming for every class before there was a chance of the mount dropping.
Glad it took me like 5 tries to get mine.
I really don’t know how some people find the “get up and go” to farm for a mount or mounts every week until they finally get it.
I don’t have this mount either but I am sure over the years of playing and my chars run through ICC maybe 20-30 times tops running the raid.
I just lose interest to do these mounts farms week after week so I’d probably do them say once every 6 months but only on one or two of my characters.
The mount isn’t even that good. You can jump around with on a regular server and show anyone how cool you are… but on RP-servers it is absolutely useless, as you know.
And how many accounts does the OP have?
All the answers are in the thread. I’m not doing your reading for you.
I think the bigger problem is that even if he drops, you can’t see him.
Yes, it is. Just because you say it isn’t doesn’t make that not the point. Go cry somewhere else.
The real question is how many do I have.
Also, I don’t believe the OP either on the number of attempts since I have already farmed up the mount.
Don’t worry though this will be on the trading post.
If you want , the next time you want to go to 25 man ICC I will go with you and trade you the mount if I get it since I don’t need it anymore.
No, what you see is that only 14% of people actually tried to get the mounts.
Everybody else either did not care, or gave up.
also…due to the proportions, a confidence interval is needed.
AKA the more data there is over the years, the more accurate the number is.
Invincible currently has a 5% Drop Rate, not a 0.77%. I mean, I used to see quotes as low as a 0.00125% chance back in the day, then a 0.13, then 1.3, now its at 5% after like 10 years now…
You did not even bother to go look up the actual drop rate, you just did some finger/toe math then came rushing to the forums to cry about something you were dead wrong about. You were not only wrong, but you were wrong by like…I don’t know, let me whip my toes out to count, hold on…
oh, you are wrong by like 1100% of a droprate. LOL I have no idea, I just know that you said .77 with your made up math, and the real number is a whole 5%. Not .5%. No, a whole 5%. You were so full of your own drama, that you had to literally just make up a number on the spot.
You know, 69.420% of statistics are made up on the spot?
The reward is not there for those that wish for it, but those that take it.
Go get it. It is a digital item in a digital world that could literally just randomly be shut down next week because “server costs” or some nonsense…
YOU KNOW WHAT, HERE. LET ME JUST LINK THIS. so much easier. It is a quote from a user on WoWhead, who sums up exactly why this mount is so rare.
" I just finished reading the book about how Arthas became the Lich King, and this horse meant alot to Arthas, more than you would think.
He actually witnessed the birth of this horse at age 9, back in the Lordaeron Stables. He became attached to this horse as soon as it could walk, and claimed it as his own.
So, years later, He’s a teenager at age 17 riding through the woods during the winter. He goes to jump over a hill, and in mid air, he sees a slippery path leading to ice protruding from the ground. The horse lands first, the ice slices through him terribly, and Arthas knows he will not survive in time to be dragged to the stables. He pulls out his sword, and stabs it through the horse’s heart to stop it’s suffering. He brings it to a spot near the stables, and buries him.
Years later, he comes back in his unholy form of the Lich King, stabs Frostmourne down through the ground into Invincible’s rotting bones, and thus resurrects the mount you see here.
There you have it, the lore of this mount.

Invincible is rare, because Arthas would literally burn all of existence just to make up for what he accidentally did to that poor horse.
AND YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK IN AND TAKE HIS BROTHER AND BEST FRIEND FROM HIM? NAW BRO, YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT!
If you can’t accept that, too bad. Get over yourself. I still don’t have the Ashes mount after all these years…you know why? BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT IT THAT BAD. To me, Ashes was cool af, but ultimately it was not as cool as that Shadowy Phoenix that came out later. Made me stop farming Ashes lol.
People who want it, will get it.
But Invincible is special for a very good reason. And just to spite you folks for not knowing that, I hope Blizzard cuts the drop rate in half.
Invincible is not just a mount, but a companion. A true friend, in combat and whilst strolling through the woods in mid-summer. A brother.
You wouldn’t want your brother to be some common horse, would you?
