Invincible is a problem

But it doesn’t really matter because it’s still the same % chance to get it whether it’s per ID or per kill. The RNG still doesn’t care how many times you’ve done it.

You see, many of us use alts for forum posting because of trolls like you who go around stalking us and trying to dig for ways for why our opinion isn’t acceptable.

He wasn’t stating an opinion.

He was misrepresenting his experience to try to effect a change in the game.

Do you honestly think that I posted thinking some dev would see it and say:

“Ya know regardless of the fact that millions of players come on these boards and complain about mount drop rates over the years, this Winter guy’s post is what matters. 100% invincible drop rates effective immediately.”

I more or less came on here to vent my frustration after the insane amount of time I’ve put into trying to get the mount and maybe get a couple of people to chat about it. I didn’t think so many people would come on here and start arguments and crap.

I am not sure those counts on the armory are correct anyway. I don’t have a clue about ICC but it is only showing one kill for the last three bosses of heroic seige for me and I know I killed those more than once on that character because I did progression raiding that expansion - I literally remember giving some jerk a carry in there because he made a fuss about gear. I killed that last boss at least 4 times and it is only showing once.

Ok. 1 person flips a coin its heads or tails 50/50. 2 people flip a coin its no longer 50/50 on a heads or tails result its considerably less to get the desired result. Continue to add people in and this exponentiats over and over and over again.

Ok, I did some math… I came back to wow 2 months before legion and leveled 1 of each class to max during those invasions. I immediately started farming invincible on each character 1 time a week.

I did this religiously until roughly the end of BFA. (I didn’t play the war or rogue so they don’t count.) 10 characters x 52 weeks x5 years is roughly 2600 attempts. (These are just rough numbers.) I am not counting any of the attempts pre-legion or any of the attempts I’ve done in the past 6 months since I’ve been back.

Can we please do something about this drop rate? I think with the amount of money I spend on wow and blizzard games in general(wow tokens every month, mounts, collectors editions, and other Blizz games.) I should be given this freaking mount by now.

For the 2 that responded with “Rare is the whole point!” no this isn’t the whole point. The point is it isn’t supposed to be this rare. the drop rate of the mount is .77% Which means after 2600 kills the mount should have dropped about 17 times.

When Invincible first came out, the drop rate was 100%. Perhaps if they do a timewalking ICC, the drop rate can be increased or something?

The offputting thing for me isn’t the low drop rate, its the need to go through a full, long raid to get to the boss. While the drop rates used to be lousy for the Sha, at least all I had to do was park some alts next to him and log and hit him once a week. If they could put in some sort of object you had to farm for to allow you to skip to the boss directly, it would make the whole process a lot less tedious.

First of all, when you make a wild claim to say you’ve farmed a boss over 2600 times, it isn’t stalking for someone to want that verified. You’re making a claim. Back it up.

But OPs DK is from 2016. They played it a bunch during Legion. OP states in their very first post, “farmed religiously on all my characters”. This is factually false. Once they’ve lied about 1 thing, they’re liking lying about the rest.
