Before the thread gets nuked I just want to once again say that World War 3 is highly unlikely to happen over the Ukraine. Go play some WoW or Elden Ring and stop doom scrolling on social media for a few hours for your mental health

I love when UN and US keep saying "We stand with Ukraine, but they won’t do anything to defend them. Ukrainians are crying for help and we all just sit here and do nothing. China is enjoying this because they know US won’t defend Taiwan.

It’s the old 194 Lend/Lease act we used to supply Russia and Great Britain with goods and materials during WW2, without us having to declare war. We are now gonna be doing the same for the Ukraine. Not exactly doing nothing. It just has to pass Congress. Other nations are doing the same and more so.
NATO can’t directly intervene but they are absolutely sending supplies and weapons and intel to the Ukraine which is one reason the country hasn’t collapsed yet. Wars like this are really just one big game of “I’m not touching you” between countries because they aren’t technically at war with you but they are still aiding one side.
I think if China takes anything away from this then it is to not attack a country with a modern military and stick to bullying weaker countries like every country does now because modern warfare is a huge drain on resources and these armies aren’t actually meant to fight each other.
Putin’s goal has been to rebuild the Soviet Union for over 15 years, either by proxy or straight domination. Look at Crimea and Georgia. He may have finally over played his hand, though. I’m not a religious man, but may god bless St Javelin, the patron saint of Ukraine this week

Actually China bowed out. They abstained for the UN resolution and not wanting to get involved, but they are kinda pissed at the Oligarchs using Chinese banks to hide funds.
Geopolitics are kind of fun.
They are a mess lol. But still fun to read about. The China fact China abstained instead of voting no is a big deal which I was surprised to see
NLaw been causing havoc right now, I believe Sweden has been providing those.
I understand, they are QUITE easy to use and train people with.

Honestly I’m not surprised, the Chinese have far more to lose in this than to win. If it had been a 24 hour campaign like I assume they thought it would be I’d bet every penny in my name they would have backed the Russians, now it’s too much economic collateral damage. The Chinese Government has no interest in a conflict that will effect their economic stability and growth in the Asiatic sphere of influence.
But lemme guess, faux, breitbart or some other fringe conservative propaganda site that pumps out constant emotional rants daily is so reliable right?
