If I were the Chinese, I would take advantage and take back some of the land Russia “acquired” at the end of WW2. The Ukraine debacle is showing the Russia isn’t well prepared for conflict.
Yeah I’m pretty sure Putin assumed he could do like Crimea, Georgia, and Eastern Ukraine and just land some troops in Kiev and the government would flee and he could install his own government and claim he has removed the corrupt Ukraine n@zi’s from power. Them fighting back and exposing the Russian military as a very corrupt and inept paper tiger was not what he wanted.
They are backing Russia, they just won’t do it to compromise their own position and goals (take over of Taiwan).
They’re currently censoring all negative press against Russia and are setting up alternative payment methods to subsidize their economy. They could abstain in UN votes because they knew Russia’s vote was final anyways, so they can get away looking clean while silently supporting them.

We started supply runs in the mist of the German Operation Babarosa and was running weapons and vehicles when German got to 50 miles of Moscow. Same goes for the supply of Great Britain during the Blitz and avoiding UBoat patrols. No different than now.

It sounds like Russia is having a lot of logistical problems and struggling to keep their supply lines going at the moment. It’s hard to tell because of propaganda from both sides right now but it doesn’t look great for Russia’s military at the moment

We see how they treat their own people and Uyghurs Muslim but everyone is looking other way because they want the Chinese cash. So if China dose take Taiwan, we’re going to shrug and they know it.

Yeah but there’s always a difference between murdering your own people and trying to do it to another country that has the capability to defend itself like Taiwan. China could win just like Russia can win. But it would cost them more in the long term
