Ok I’ll wait the ticket response, thank you for your help buddy.

Most welcome! Ticket times are a bit high right now, just so you’re warned. It may be upwards of two days before it gets a response, but they will answer it as soon as they possibly can. Things got a little chaotic and ticket times blew up a little, but they are finally coming back down.

Hopefully either your ticket will be answered or one of the SFAs will be able to give some insight when they get back in in the morning.

I’ve came across the same issue since last night and can’t seem to resolve it.

Today 12/12 I tried to make the purchase, but even alert: “erro interno no leilão PT-BR”. I am following up, I have already opened ticket. I signed just to see if it was possible to make this purchase of wow token, apparently we have another barrier to entry.

So the biggest question is are you caught up in the recent change to being able to purchase tokens?

That is the easiest answer. If you’ve not bought and used at least 30 days of game time with real money and not a WoW Token since 2017, you’re not going to be able to purchase tokens. Once you’ve paid for a month’s game time with real funds, and wait for those 30 days to tick by, THEN your account will allow for you to purchase tokens again.

If that’s the case, why am I still able to purchase WoW tokens with gold? I was able to buy one a week or two ago and use it, despite not paying a single penny to Blizzard [myself, at least, since someone else paid $20 in my stead for each token, effectively] since the WoW token came out back during WoD, which was 2015…

(…at least, I don’t think I’ve spent any real money on WoW since then…)

Either it’s a bug that hasn’t yet been thoroughly documented, in addition to this forum not being flooded with similar claims, or you have purchased game time since then.

im on my first month playing wow, and i wanna keep playing but i cant buy the token until my sub ends, and when my sub ends i wont be able to buy the token bc im not gonna have a sub anymore and cant log in, is crazy

Any character under level 20 can log in without a sub.

So long as you have enough gold spread across all your characters on a single realm to afford one at that time, you’ll be prompted to purchase one on the character select screen.

The biggest issue is it sounds as though any substantial gold is on Wrath Classic. Without it being an active sub, they can’t do any of that? You have to kind of pre-buy tokens if you’re only dealing with Wrath things. Retail, we get a little more flexibility.

That is true, and I’ll scratch it from the record if that is indeed the client they’re referring to. Without it explicitly stated and given Retail was the origin of this thread, one can only guess.

yeah thats the thing my gold is on wotlk, i cant even run retail on my pc, dont know what im gonna do to buy the token after the 30days, but thanks for the anwers

Hello, i’ve been having the same issue, but i’ve heard that when the 30days tick by u wont be able to play again until u purchase another 30days. how am i supposed to buy the wow token when i cant even access wow after the 30days tick by.

Depending on the month, it could technically run 31 days. Of course, it would depending on timing. But since game time from a card is technically 60 days, buy this and no problems.
