I would rather blizzard work on adding the nerubian city they originally did not have time for and finish the gundrak raid that was planned.
More new content that was originally planned but could not be finished due to time constraints and hardware/software limitations would bring back more of the population.
In my opinion a constant fresh influx of returning/ new people to wow is one of the answers to the shortage of tanks/healers.
As it stands, we have no recruit-a-friend incentives, there is little advertisement for classic wow, and the changes are taking too long to positivley manifest into a healthy population.
Tl:dr there are other solutions to the population issues other than just developing the lfg tool again.
Because blizzards ever so open to being told they did something wrong, and totally open to player suggestions, and not notorious for telling players that they are wrong, and refusing to budge on their awful decisions for years right?
Yeah… okay, we can “Provide Feed back” if they mess it up. Sure.
I agree to an extent, I’m not happy with alot of their choices but I want to see the game succeed again
A bold new stance on the content we have to work with I feel like is a good start, for example changing AV back to its roots and adding landmines, more npc’s, and updating the AI with modern coding?
I’d be happy with small changes, hell even new weekly or monthly one off events just to do something different.
Why do players like you always frame things as either or? Anyways, they aren’t adding content, because they aren’t releasing WOTLK +. They’re releasing WOTLK classic.
It’s a simple distinction. The fact that you present your idea this way tells me you don’t even have a clear concept of what’s going on.
Its clearly not an either or. hes saying we wants new content and doesnt want rdf. not that he thinks he wont get new content if no rdf. or that theyre mutually exclusive. it seems youre a big fan of misrepresenting other peoples opinions. You can absolutely say “why not both?” but hes not saying we cant have both or neither.
Why dont you have a good faith arguement, and instead examine his idea about it being a solution to the tank shortage? he asked the question. would it be? in your opinion and experience, personally, do you believe it would be comparable to rdf’s effect on the tank shortage? why or why not?
That might be a more productive way to proceed than fighting a strawman every time you hear an opinion you disagree slightly with
the only additional content that Classic Wrath is getting is the lvl 70 boost. they sure as hell aren’t going to take the time to create a brand new raid and zone
I mean their definitely never going to do it. but if they did would it fix the tank shortage? what would fix the tank shortage? would rebalancing raids so they (like other MMOS) required the same tank/heal/dps ratio in 25 mans as in heroics? would higher dps numbers from tanks incentivize play? would new content fix it? what impact would rdf have? what impact will dualspecc have??
