Increasing Renown Restores Conduit Energy in Patch 9.1

hell yeah brother.

sign me up.

I PvP in multiple specs. Conduit energy makes it to where I cannot do that. Conduit energy has ruined my play sessions at various points because I won’t be able to swap around based on which teammates I have online.

it sucks everyone knows it carhagen must not like fun at all. games are made so people can maybe have fun not i give more annoyances out than fun and anyone on these forums knows it. these dev’s are flat annoying in everything they do or it’s the person forcing to do these things who knows.

Not this modern development team at Blizzard . The old Blizzard yeah probably.

See the alpha/beta forums is probably the best place to see very constructive, very passionate and genuine feedback from the player-base. All this stuff needs to be evaluated and fixed in beta .As a consumer the last thing you want to be is to apologize on behalf of a corporate company on why they delivered this crap at launch day and it will be fixed later . If you paying 40 -70 USD upfront and paying a sub for 15 USD they need to deliver a complete product at standard they maintain that is AAA not as an indie dev.

So no you should not believe this vision stuff like 7-8 months down the line

Exactly! pick a side MMORPG or Coop lobby based game .

Do not compromise , do no be satisfied with the bare minimum ,do not be happy when they start returning stuff we already had in the past.

There’s no choice.

As I demonstrated above. If they remove it, then potentially only the people that want it gone are happy (the people who liked it and the people who just wanted restrictions eased are not happy). If they leave it as is, then the people who want restrictions eased and the people who want it gone aren’t happy.

The only way to really get things working is if they make some changes. Crowd A is happy, Crowd B is happy, the developers are happy, and the only people who may be unhappy is Crowd C, but they may be willing to work with what’s been changed.

Concessions and compromises are a key part of negotiation and making sure everyone leaves the table, if not completely happy, than at least in a less aggrieved state than before.

These people don’t exist, sorry.

you could just say the current devs suck basically cause the game seemed to have way less problems until systems came along and the shadowlands systems are definitely the worse of the 3.

Weird how the only people that I’ve ever seen support this are hidden profile, character specific achievements on alts who’ve hidden their characters on every tracking site. Weird how it’s never anyone that is actually able to show they participate in any sort of content that is saying they are happy with the stupid limits in place.

Yeah that’s basically how it going on the forums really. Same with #PullTheRipcord.

Who is generally happy conduit energy exists? Find me one person that doesn’t have their w-2 signed by blizzard hr

I haven’t changed conduits or soulbinds for 6 months, joke system honestly.

If they sent me an update saying, “No more conduit energy,” I would be like woohoo! So happy!

Then the forums would be filled with “Thank you Lizard” threads!

They do. But hey, you’re welcome to your opinion.

Sue me. I hate armoury bashing and I hate Raider IO. I specifically set my forum character this way so that I don’t have to deal with people like you, who scour armoury profiles for a ‘gotcha’.

Either way, I’m stepping out of this thread for now. Ya’ll have a nice night.

Bro wtf. Why come at us like that?

For the record I also think conduit energy is pointless.

The argument for it collapses in on itself. “You don’t want players to feel like they have to” but the only players who DO feel that way are the ones who would HAPPILY do it! They WANT to!

I say this as someone who would HARDLY EVER change their conduits too much. I’m just a player gunning for KSM, nothing beyond. But i totally get it for others. Crazy how Blizz doesn’t.

And they are not the people to be catered to.

Whoever thinks it’s good to micromanage people’s choices or the amount of times they change their talents should never be listened to.

These devs are too focused on limiting how i play over being happy that i am playing. They see all their fans and players as a given and that they do not need to listen or make any changes to keep us. Its extremely clear they have no intention of just letting their pride go.

Thank goodness for Outlaw. Just plop the conduit that reduces RNG on roll the bones, plop whatever in the other slots, then proceed to play the game like conduits don’t exist lol.

Always funny when the GD shill brigade comes. Can’t imagine supporting tackling others to the ground because you disagree with their playstyle when it’s harmless

Before I gave my sub the axe, I mained a druid and played all 4 specs to some extent.
The combination of only having 3 soulbinds and having conduit energy as a restriction on top of that meant I could swap back and forth for 2 of my specs 2 times a week unless I wanted to voluntarily have a meh setup.
Why have a system in place that makes players feel bad for playing multiple roles on a multi-role class?
This kind of junk, solving problems that dont exist for 90% of the playerbase because they think it’s a problem, is a lot if what’s wrong with the dev approach now. Just let us have semi free-reign to customize our characters as WE, the players, want to. No need to hand hold or gatekeep the ability to change our characters.

The irony is BlizZard argued that it would put pressure on casual player to min max without the conduit energy. And yet they are putting IO score baseline into the game in patch 9.1 which I argue is more complained about by casual players than if conduit energy was removed.

Basically if you are casually playing you are not going to encounter a situation where you are pressured into changing specs constantly. When doing content that utilizes IO score is where you may encounter such a situation. But if you don’t have the IO score in the first place then that is a moot point as you will never feel the pressure of this if you are not invited to do such type of content.

But there is another aspect that people are forgetting. Casual players can be experienced players and knowledgeable players. Maybe a casual player wants to experiment and try different builds just as much as a hardcore player? Also where is it in the rule book that says a casual player is not allowed to min/max and only hardcore players only strive for min/max?

Just something to think about. Forming BIS lists, min/max, trying out different builds, isn’t that the entire point of MMORPG game play? To have fun? Try different builds or even have an opportunity to play different alts?
